when you really break it down. Making music is just making notes and drawing art is just making line
@MisterPotatoHandsКүн бұрын
It is!! At least, in terms of anyone being able to get into it (rather than the effortless part... that comes with a lot of practice!). But making music with software is so accessible now, and it can be so much fun and a really cathartic outlet. You don't have to be good at it to just enjoy the creative process. Ultimately, there's only one rule with music: does it sound good? If it does, then it's good (if only to your ears) 😅
@4.0.4Күн бұрын

this might be your most genius video yet!! I feel like this is a phenomenon that many producers and composers realize, but don’t fully understand. It’s the reason why sometimes even amateur musicians can make very catchy and complex songs, by using this principal. Linkin Park were masters at this. Even when they did change the melody to fit each chord, it might end on the same note every time, creating (like you said) a desperate feeling that fits their themes so well. Doing the same thing over and over to try to get somewhere, but nothing actually changes. Powerful!
