It's odd, that in 2013, those who had an unfavorable opinion of Bashar were a vocal minority. Bashar kept tabs on those of Syrian descent, that he would spy on them, and relay who their families were back in Syria, for instance, if they demonstrated against him in Europe and the USA. The scare of places like Sednaya for family members kept them quiet. Then, others knew that Bashar was wrong. Employees of Russia, Iran and Hez would write fairytales online in support of Bashar as well, to try to discourage others. There were also religious fundamentalists going along with them. Isra wasnt innocent either, as they encouraged being apathetic. However, Some of us always tried, bc victims of his refime didn't have enough voice. Now we're the vocal majority.

When people used to write online, "Assad is the" 👹 you know. Or let God sort it out. They preferred a horrible dictator next door than a question mark should rebels have won then. I now believe many who wrote that stuff were Israeli, or Evangelical fundamentalists. It was major online, when Bashar was unaliving people. These attitudes benefited the wants of Israelis who were Islamophobes. However, some online Israelis didn't reflect that sentiment, and seem to have always been vocal against Bashar. Someone online, once wrote something like, mark my words. Even though, a commenter isn't a reliable source, they wrote something that seems to be true. They wrote, they had information that Israel wanted a weakened state in Syria at the expense of Syrian civilians. Today, Syria is a weakened state. However, there was a minority of Israelis who've wanted Bashar out for his acts
