He sings with the nose, this is very annoying...I don't disagree with your word but their prime was by far 1997-2003...After that, he couldn't sing heavy and started to have a higher voice in order to fit with the songs.. At least that period he tried to sing like he used to in some points..I think the best thing in the album mezmerize/hypnotize was the improve in screaming

Please don't think that way, you just got to find it, don't judge an entire generation of music on the radio. That's just scratching the surface. I go to band camp to find new music and to a venue in my town to see local bands. I'm 15 and am impressed with the music I find of this generation.

The first album is by far the best. Their next two albums are good too. Mezmerize and Hyponotize aren't bad albums but I rarely go back to them compared to the first three albums.

This really shows how fresh system of a down were, they were the first of their kind. Their were politically charged bands before such as Rage against the machine of course but SOAD sounded and still sounds with It's riffs, vocals, lyrics and presentation.
