MY position/feeling about this song. Sugar juxtaposes feelings about this subject. We go from "The Kombucha Mushroom People sitting around all day." "WHO can believe you WHO can believe you, let your mother pray..."Are you a mushroom person? are you non-mycanoid? This song evokes thoughts either way. Neither side is bad, but we need duplicity to a degree. We kinda need a way to feel.

I'm dirt poor and love Kombucha, pickling, and fermenting all things from Pineapple Tepache, Kefir to Kimchi and making my own ketchup and relish. All fermenting is done by allowing bacteria and yeast to eat all the sugar. It's not necessarily the wealthy middle class that does this as a pretentious way to profit from their peers. Arabian, Mexican, Japanese and Korean people have been fermenting cultures for health reasons and longevity of seasonally available goods for centuries if not millennia. The health benefits of many fermented foods are probiotics, digestion aids, vitamins and minerals. No offence to you MRLBOYD or to SOAD who are one of my fav bands but fermenting foods rather than eating over-refined mass-produced food is healthy.
