@@FAB_123 Pretty sure he broke his hand just before recording some stuff in 96/97 I think and John was in another band and just happened to be in the studio next door when it happened. John learned I think all of the songs required perfectly in a couple weeks and they just kept him on as the original drummer was gonna be out for a year or something.

Even if you enjoy the diy slow and dirty sound you can't genuinely argue that the finished tracks are worse when they literally are just more fleshed out better put together versions of these demos.

I will say, this is so raw and chunky I love it. The other Demo, from the Demo Tape 4 sounds hard as fuck But then the studio version still holds the rawness, while also feeling fresh. It's hard, but Demo Tape 4 Suite-Pee is my favorite.

I don't agree with people saying the demos sound better than the finished tracks, but for Suite-Pee you can definitely appreciate the slower and more uncontrolled sound in the demo because the final track itself already has a lot of that energy carried over. Plus the drums are really infectious
