Yea safehouse panels are great. I own two of them and they are alot of fun to work with. I have to admit tho, the safehouse panel in this video looks like it has lots of great features. I have never seen that particular safehouse panel before, but I'd love to own one. I have 2 zone safehouse panel as well as an 8 zone and I used them to automate lots of different things including X10 remotes to flash lights, fire alarms, burglar alarms...ect! I totally agree!

Well you can go on eBay and look for some, or maybe go to a local fire/security dealer. I am pretty sure they will have no problem helping you out. I hope this helped :)

I am kind of pissed about it: When I first got it, I put those candle bulbs in (High Brightness ones) and it created that huge burn spot. And since that, I now just put in night light bulbs. Good question

I'm new at this and my basement is being finished soon with like sheet rock and all that and I just want to have a basic system with a pull station and chime strobe but without a panel. So when I reset the pull it just stops. Is this possible to do?

Yeah, you can do that. All you need is a 12 VDC power supply, which are very common. As for backboxes, for the pullststion, all you need is a single gang box. For the alarm, you need a 2 gang box m.lowes.com/pd/STEEL-CITY-21-cu-in-2-Gang-Metal-Square-Wall-Electrical-Box/3817635 but it all depends on your alarm. If I were you, I would get the boxes up before the sheet rock goes up.

Hey dude, I like your SafeHouse panel, they are really universal and great to work with. RadioShack used to make them. I have two systems I have wired using SafeHouse panels. Smart people like us, when it comes to alarm systems, we can automate lots of things using burglar and fire panels. We share the same great hobby. What kind of fire panel were you using? Anyways keep up the good work. I should show you some of my systems if you would like to see!

No, The vviring is fine. The jumpers are for a 6 volt battery because I don't have battery cables for the exit sign.

Yes they do. I have tried many panels (and a lot of them are in my basement) and I have came to a conclusion that, if you want a quality panel, you shouldn't mind breaking the bank.
