I have the bg 12 and the true alert in bed room, the ms2 panal and a spectre alert in the kitchen and a heat detector I would recommend doing a c02 detector for once and test it that would be awsome

@Theweekendtech their is no such thing as a BG-12MX. Soccerdude7330 made up that model number.The "M" means "modified" and the "X" represents the LED in the pull station. Fire-Lite does not make a such thing as a BG-12MX.

ok so i think i know why the potter bell had a diode, it's because the bell was actually a motor bell. that means that the bell would've stopped working because the motor in those bells are DC and if the diode wasn't there the motor would try to move back and forth, causing it to burn out the motor. i think that's right at least, i may be wrong though
