LOL, I take it it was really loud? I hate the bell in my school on the fourth floor on the far left side wall, (Because thats where my locker is) when it goes off it sticks for about 2-3 seconds and rings and it is really obnoxious and loud. Almost all the school bells in my school are really obnoxious and loud, (But mostly its because they ring in the first place! lol) Idk though, I might be thinking of another bell in another part of the school. And also I remember one time when the administrators accused me of pulling the fire alarm, but they found out who it was. (They had a camera pointing at that pull box and they mistaked someone else for me) So, I'm going to wrap up this comment because its way too long and I've been droning on for years. When you pull the handle on a coded pull station such as the one you used or on a Simplex T-Bar(large size) what does your hand feel like? I mean can you feel your hand moving when the handle is pulled? Also on the Simplex when you pull the handle all the way and the wheel winds what does your hand feel like? Do you need to readjust your hand/grip after you pull the handle out a bit before pulling it down? What would people think when they see the handle go back up? Would people think the alarm did not work and pull it again? Also when the alarm stops after the 4 rounds does one pull it again if no one has responded? How many times does one need to pull it? On some coded stations does the bell keep going after you pull it even if the handle goes up or were there some old Simplex ones where the handle would stay down? thanks

Daniel 1. LOL 2. If I couldn't feel my hand moving I'd have no feeling in my hand and there'd be something wrong with me 3. LOL again 4. No 5. Most people don't know anything about how alarm devices work so I bet they wouldn't think twice about it. 6. Again, #5. 7. I bet by the time it stops after 4 rounds the person who pulled it will be out of the building because there's a fire. 8. Only once really 9. I have seen one coded pull station where the handle does lock down.

Most of the bells at my old high school are wheelock 6” ac bells and 2 of them are potter 6” bells and the outdoor bells are 10” edwards bells, and I’m assuming most of the bells are running on 120v ac and some on 24v ac and they’re used for class change

Im used to old fire systems .4-4-4-4 usually does 4 alarm 1 silence 4 alarm 1silence. 16 beats silence (loops). Same with 4-4. 4 alarm 1 silence 4 alarm 8 silence
