Great battle report, really fun to watch. Can't understand missing weapons off the commander and plasma rifles off the broadsides. The 100 points for 4 weapons on the commander and 6 twin-plasma on the broadsides would have killed nearly that much in a turn let alone over the game. Talking of the broadsides, when in combat were they firing in their shooting phase at their assailants or did I just miss it ? Plasma being assault weapons would fire as normal in combat so would really help. Tau just seems to miss having some screens, that extra bit of time would have helped prevent the broadsides and crisis getting in combat for a turn. Don't rate the kroot and hounds as useful for this ?

I know I don't get why the commander was hiding all game for 4 VP at the end of the game seems like a waste

If you want it's explained more in our second Tau tactical timeout! But a quick rundown is he keeps him hidden to give rerolls to the crisis suits and then uses him at the end of the game for 6 VP if it's the last one! Thank you for watching!
