Hi I m in the U.S. I had been looking for an Indian pressure cooker, preferably Hawkins for making rice, dal and veggies. But the prices as well as sellers are not good. Would u recommend this tfal brand cooker over hawkins?? We have the habit of seeing hawkins in every household so feel hesitant to use this type of new cooker. Pls advise me if I should buy it.

Yes, definitely THis is my first pressure cooker I ever used. I love to use this for all dried vegetable like beans and all types of indian daals. This cooker work perfectly for me and it comes with five security systems like I mentioned in video. Easy to use first you have to learn cooking timing measurements all that , Once you get then you will fell in love with this. In this video I shared one recipe aswell think indian daal makhni. from that you can get some ideas. This is great pressure cooker for me, I never used any other brands like Hawkins or any other brand , this is my first one, so I can't compared with other. I don't have any problem with this, So far this is great. Quite Vissel no smell, easy to use. I can say definitely you will try this if you like too. In this video mostly I shared all the the things. Hope this help love. 😘

It isn't noisy like old-fashioned pressure cookers are, it only makes a slight noise to indicate that the pressure/ steam is coming out of the cooker, it isn't very noticeable though. Hope this helps!

The temperature depends on the recipe. First, I slightly cooked my dry beans or vegetables on low-medium heat, when it was done, I put the lid on and turned the heat all the way up on max. Hi, it's normal for the lid to move when the pressure cooker is closed, when the pressure builds up inside the cooker the lid will stay in place. However even though the lid may seem secure, do not try to move it around, while it operates. I will make a separate video on the lid, and how to properly secure the lid when using.
