Brompton Premium Parts, I was wondering.... Have you seen or tested any of the Brompton clones? I was thinking of the Leggero T7C full titanium bike. Are the clones built with less quality? Perhaps, even, the clones are superior in quality to Brompton? Besides the Leggero, there are other clones too. Is the cost savings of a clone worth it compared to the Brompton T-Line? Thanks.

We have seen a lot of clones but haven’t tried one, most of them are cheaper, not sure of their quality control so I would not suggest to go on that direction and I know will always go with the trusted, well built, tested, with value Brompton.

@@davidhunternyc1 I know the price difference is huge but clones don't have value, you can't call them a Brompton so the resale is not there, I bet you will still want a Brompton even if you go and get a clone one.

@@781BromptonPremiumParts I think you're 100% correct. I'm just anal retentive and try to look at all sides and cover all bases before I spring for a Brompton and make the upgrades. No matter what I pay for a clone, the resale value would be terrible compared to a Brompton, plus, it's not a Brompton. I get it. 😉

I'm sure both are good, but we might be biased to say it is H&H, this is tried and tested, have not experienced any issues with it.

Does this work for the 12 speed T line explorer? How’s the rolling resistance etc?

We have not tried it yet but I guess it will if you rebuild the rear wheel by adding the new internal hub. Ceramic hub bearings helps you a lot with the rolling resistance, huge difference from the stock.
