I bought the CFMoto 450MT, and I can tell you, it is a well engineered and well made bike. Others who have put big miles on this bike already are not reporting any problems. That is pretty good for a brand new model. I was going to buy Japanese second hand but at the price and the specs getting the MT instead was a no-brainer. Oh, and it is very stylish and very nice to ride. I'm really pleased with it.

Chinese brands have not proven themselves quite yet but I will say that they can do in 3 years, European brands take 10 years to do. The Chinese brands have listened and delivered to the market. While we have all,been waiting for that European unicorn bike, China has now built it. Take note KTM

These brands are the future Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda and Kawasaki. I have a Zontes 350T and its a good bike. Not insane but good considering the 4k price tag. Its got me back into biking and now I am looking at the Zontes 702f. That and the Voge are really good bikes, those saying not have never ridden one or are just bias. Like the hatred against EV's its just those who fear what they dont know and too scared to crawl out of thier comfort zone. I really thought the 350T would be crap and just scrap but here we are 1 year and 10k into ownership and I just want to keep riding it. Only issue, a stretched chain. Easily replaced. No rust, no issues, nothing. Only issue with the Zontes 703f, its taken too long to get here.

Requirements of the European union makes the European Company in Difficult situations.... This is very dangerous in Economy... I'm old enough to have seen the arrival of the Japanese bikes and the dismissal of the British brands beginning of the 1970's. And I've heard the same crap comments about the Japanese brands on 1968, and now about the Chinese I hear the same. Generally these comments are said by people who never tried the new brands. Looking for a new bike (number 36 in my personal list, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese from 125 to 1300cc, from one to six cylinders, from 120 to 300 km/h) I've tried a few 2024 Chinese bikes from the Zontes 350 GK to the CFMoto 700 CLX as I'm looking for a geriatric medium sized bike, as light as possible well under the 200 kg wet with some peps, let's say 60 hp. I do not need more. That will be probably my last bike, and my choice is the QJ 550 SRK, 550 cc, 270° twin, 61 hp; 176 kg full, fully tunable suspensions, Brembo double 320 mm disks, for 5900€ 3 years warranty. We can compare that to the Honda CB 500 and Kawasaki 500 GPZ from the beginning of the 2000, bikes of similar size, power and speed having around 60hp but there are big differences; the Chinese has better suspensions, better brakes, better rounder engine, far better equipment, largely as good quality. The Honda CB 500 2003 was the last model with 58 hp and its price was 5483€ this year 2003. The 550 SRX is at 5900€ 22 years later...And the Honda 500 Hornet made in China/Thailand is 47 ch, no way to get more hp at 6700€ and the quality looks about the same as the QJ but less well equipped, the quality of the paint does not look fantastic. For me the 14 hp of difference make the decision, more than the price.

May I recommend a Yamaha MT07? With or without auto gearbox? I'm in the same scenario as you and the 25 model ticks all the boxes for me.

@@mrsilbo6499 Thanks for the suggestion. I have to see it but it's not arrived at the dealer. The price risk to be dissuasive, they are announcing 8200€, largely over my limit of 7000€.

@@pabloricardodetarragon2649 Fair comment. The standard bike is a bit cheaper than the auto & has updated suspension & a QS as standard.
@pabloricardodetarragon264915 күн бұрын
@@mrsilbo6499 Sadly 8200 is the price of the very basic bike after discount for a cash payment...That's too expensive for a 74 hp bike, 300€ more than the 750 Honda Hornet 7900 as is (= with nothing but 95 hp). and 1000€ more than the Suzuki SV 650, old but rather good and extremely reliable. I know all these bikes. I prefer the small and light 550 SRK. That feels like a 400, but with 61 hp. Largely enough for my geriatric program, and the bike is very well equipped with good fully tunable suspensions.

CFMOTO got P2 in Moto2GP. That's going against Hondas, Yamahas, Ducatis, KTMs and Aprillias. Matter of time before they dominate the bike market. I'm looking forward to that. Affordable bikes that are just as reliable as any other bike. If they put a lender on Mars and dark side of the moon, I'm sure they can build good bikes. But that's just me
