Very clear and smooth presentation in one take. While buying from Taobao one important thing is to check on the comments (especially with photos). There're all kinds of products, with good quality, or good price, or both. Be patient before making an order then you will get nice products.

I'm not looking to renovate anytime soon but I still sat through and enjoyed the whole video. Thank you for taking the time to explain and educate us, not only in the video but in the comment sections as well. In my home, we used to have to fumble with three, four remote controls when switching between different modes until we found the Harmony remote more than ten years ago. We now use just one remote to switch between TV, Apple TV, Blue Ray etc. I was wondering if you may be able to find use for something similar where you live. Actually the price that you bought is almost the same as GoodWife Singapore, $500+ for the rack excluding installation cost. Maybe can check out, I installed it for my parent’s house it’s good

Bro, thanks for sharing. This will be the 1st time for me buying from Tao Bao. I have been using google translate to enquire their products. After seeing the rack system, I feel more confident in buying in Tao Bao. Also, you gave me ideal of having a digital lock + rack, I have been contemplating / missed out There are a lot of stuff in Tao Bao I intended to buy, etc. Lightings - Ceiling Lights / Track Lights. I have decided to be your subscriber after watching your videos and definitely recommend to my friends. I would like to ask questions on the laundry system and the sofa set. 1) Laundry System - How fast does it takes to dry up using the air blowing system. Will it cause all the dust flying around on the floor? Does it emit hot air like the dryer machine? So, I guess you never need to sun out your clothes. Then, with this laundry system, is it able to kill bacteria? That's the benefit of the sun. 2) I plan to change sofa set. I don't use aircon in the hall area. Hence, will the sofa material cooling enough for high humidity weather? Is it easy to clean as well?

thanks for the sub! 1. how fast depends on the clothing material. I only turn it once for 2hrs after each wash. It is not so strong to reach the floor, imagine like a hair dryer. Mine has the disinfect function. 2. Yup i love my sofa and will highly recommend. The material is 科技布

@@pfwong5477 it comes with the sink and i don't see a need to replace it. Cleaning it is the same as other sink, just an additional step to open up that compartment. Probably clean once a month depending on how much hair gets into it

All lights throw to my electrician, anything that belongs in the toilet all go the plumber, then the rest all to my handyman haha

Ya the track and motor is together, the power source is specifically done for the motor. For the vanity, like mentioned, its by kohler so packaging wise its very good, no issue with it at all. Its really one of my best and fave purchase.

Fantastic vid done! I am so impressed by the amount of things one can get from TB, especially the curtains! I am looking to reno and want to cut down on costs! Did you do your research quite long to nail down which vendors are reliable? and do you specifically go to only vendors in TMall so to ensure quality and also that the international delivery goes smoothly? wowww... thats alot of questions hahaha - i have no idea which vendors are reliable, just browse for the items that fancies me then check the reviews/comments section like any typical online shopping - overall delivery is fine, only the part where ezbuy refuse to deliver the items inside my house because of covid. They just put everything at the corridor then ask me to move them in myself zzz - you have to estimate the time to checkout the items because you can't put them in their warehouse for too long, and you don't want to send over to the dusty house when its still under reno. - have to see whether its part of your reno package, else people won't do free work plus if anything happen, they won't bear responsibility

singapore operates on a 230V supply voltage, that's all you need to know, everything is global standard. If you like the sg safety mark then of course you can only buy products that went for the certification, paying a premium price vs getting from taobao/aliexpress or even from JB

Hi Alex! Interested to know more about your user experience for the LED mirror you have installed in your toilet! 1) how you find it’s usability so far? 2) are there any challenges you faced while trying to get your electrician/contractor to install it for you? Understand that it’s currently a China plug and requires you to change to a one that fits into SG’s plug. Did you encounter any resistance from your electrician/contractor as they don’t want to take up responsibility for any fault in future? 3) if you have to point out something to consider before getting this LED mirror, what would it be? 1) i like the led light around the mirror, i think it gives a very nice look and feel to the toilet. But for mine, when power in switched on, only the time display is on, then you have to tap on the button on the mirror to switch on the light which means I can't have it automatically on using smart home. 2) HDB don't allow plugs in the toilet, hence have to link to switch and not plug. On the point of changing china to sg plug, as long as it accepts our sg 230v then how the product performs has nothing to do with the power source. So, look for the product warranty for 'responsibility' instead of the electrician. 3) Clock uses a separate battery power so that the clock display is always on when switch is off. When switch on, straight away on the light without an additional step mentioned in 1)

I saw from another comment (can't find it anymore among the hundreds here haha) that you mentioned trying wallhub for wallpaper, I heard from a few IDs that they don't recommend using wallpaper as it tends to deteriorate relatively quickly due to our climate, I'm wondering if the wallhub ones are better in this aspect or you're ok with the shorter lifespan with the view of changing it eventually?

paint looks really boring while wallpaper provides a huge lift to the overall aesthetics imo. I tried wall story and wallhub before, I feel that as long as the workmanship is good, they will last you for about 5 years which i think is good enough considering that I will repaint house in every 3 years. Of course, don't do things that will shorten the lifespan

bought at 3280 yuan. The shoerack is not good for big and high ankle shoes, other than that is alright. I like the look and also use its function about once per week. Not considering other shoerack haha

Hi Alex, for big items like your dining table, did you have to purchase from tao bao stores that are willing to deal with overseas shipping? cause I assume they will have to ship the item directly to you right? or there is another method to get super bulky items delivered to sg? Thanks! Glad the video helps. We will use ezship from ezbuy for those big items, so you can get from any shops because they will be sending it to ezbuy's warehouse address in china. After that just pay ezbuy to ship them to your house directly.

Just my opinion, and I maybe wrong. Those furnitures that can be bought from TaoBao can be bought from your neigbourhood furnitures shop. And they can match your online prices. And try not to buy from some online furniture shops. I just learnt that they may sell the sofa at a cheaper price, but below the seat, they are all hollow cos no cushioning. So once you sit on it, you can feel the emptiness.
