At 37 years old, that’s your body breaking down on you because you won’t recover the same. And the Seahawks signed him the next offseason after that and released him 20 days later. So what are YOU talking about my boy? And he did retire. He said he didn’t retire in 2015 but that was a lie because he was inducted into the hall of fame in 2018 and you’re only eligible after 5 years of retirement and he wasn’t first ballot so he did indeed retire no later than 2012.

At 47 years old WR in NFL the normal athlete can’t do it - Terrell Owens is not normal , he trains like a beast , still runs a 4.4 second 40 yard dash , and that experience also helps : only few players can pull this off succesfully , Terrell Owens, Randy Moss, and Tony Gonzalez , only catch is that it’s gotta be the right situation with a quarterback / another huge benefit at this age he won’t be the go to man so he’ll end up developing the other wide receivers and make them better

I disagree. Ray allen can play decent eneough defense in this day and age of basketball. Wr’s dont have to do anything else but run routes and catch. Blocking for Rb’s and catching after the ball aint hard/necessary. Thats just about effort. The nba players dont even play defense that hard until the playoffs anyways.
