True: It’s the “A” kid and “C” kid situation. When the A kid comes home with an A it’s treated as nice but when the C kid comes home with an A you take him out to dinner. Even though the C kid needs the encouragement to get on a better track it low key invalidates the good deeds of the A kid. Had a coworker who complained about being single and said she was tired of treating men well to get nothing in return and I can understand that but I told her you gotta be careful with the “vacation” mentality.
