The barge that Thomas gets pushed onto is a chain driven car ferry. There is a big one in England, Terrier55Stepney did a vlog on it a while ago where he rode on it. Not sure why a smaller version of it was made for that episode though. It's still cool. My headcannon is that this was part of the original tramway line that went from Ffarquhar to the quarry when the line was serviced by the coffeepot engines, then the line was built around the lake instead once the greater NWR was formed because now there was enough money to build around it instead cause of weak soil around the edges of the lake that wouldn't support the weight of engines so this car ferry was built originally.

Regarding the 'Tender Engines' episode, I recently made a Trainz adaptation of it that included a proper appearance of Flying Scotsman instead of just his tenders. It was difficult to write, due to how many changes I needed to make in order to work the famous A3 into the story. I ended up including Rebecca instead of Donald because I can't do a good Scottish accent, and I asked one of my friends to voice Rebecca. Personally, I think S4 is better than S3, mainly for the introduction of the narrow gauge engines. As much of a tear-jerker as Granpuff can be, I still love the Granpuff and Sleeping Beauty two-parter. I can't forget 'Home At Last' and WTLNetwork's iconic "Tunnels are dance floors and you are a pop star" edit in one of his YTPs.

Percy's Promise could have maybe used a mention as to why Annie and Clarabel needed a brake van. Like maybe a scene where the station master or something mentions it. Could have used it to replace the scene with Edward and Percy since it doesn't do much to advance the plot since the storm happens right after. Of course, I know the only reason they used the brake van there was because the idea of Clarabel being hacked apart for firewood was kinda grim to think about. Or they could have just used non-sentient coaches maybe. IDK, just a thought on my part.

I am not sure how it reads in the original printing, but the Complete Collection printing that I bought has the Thin Controller saying "Listen to me, Duncan, there is nothing wrong with that tunnel. You stuck because you tried to do Rock 'n' Roll. If it happens again, I'll cut down your cab, and your funnel too."

1:44:34 You're not the only one as I had the DVD version of it and I noticed how George Carlin's narrations sounds much more clearer and louder than the dubbing track itself. Also this goes for the first six Season 6 episodes which were on the Salty's Secret VHS/DVD as Alec's narration and voice sounds like he's panting or he had just ran like a 400 meter dash compared to the remaining episodes.

Season 3: The Wilbert Awdry adaptations were fantastic for the most part, but the original stories by the production team were mostly misses with a few big hits. Season 4: The best season of the Classic era due to not having any outright bad episodes (even the worst of the season can be better than most average/good episodes in other seasons).

Personally one way I would've changed "Trust Thomas" is changing the moral: Instead of "Thomas is trustworthy" it should be "Don't get taken advantage of by your kindness" It could go like this: Bertie tells Thomas that due to the delay of the Tar delivery and worsening road damages he'll be in trouble or get constantly damaged. Thomas them says he'll personally get the delivery to help his friend. With the tar wagons he meet Gordon & James who butter him up to take James' trucks too. Hesitant at first Thomas agrees to take the trucks as well. When he thinks it goes well despite the heavy and tough to tame train, the crash happened, showing that his kindness was his downfall. The end can stay the same with the toad and James & Gordon apologizing. It can perfectly show that the overly niceties of Thomas - fitting for his development in Season 3 - can be a flaw for him Hope you like my idea

I've recently developed a theory, or perhaps it's better to say it's a way of thinking, that makes Rusty to the Rescue feel... like it fits in better. It is Not an adaption of Bluebells of England. What it is is an adaption of the story Stepney tells Edward at the beginning of Stepney's Special. Thomas and Stepney is another combined adaption; one of Bluebells of England and Thomas and Stepney's Special. Side note: I think the title "Stepney's Special" works better for the episode adaption than the original story but that, in itself, is another story

Tbh, even though stepney is my favourite character. “Rusty to the rescue” is a shit episode. It just fucks up stepneys backstory big time and it doesent even make sense. It still drives me fucking crazy to think about what the shit Brit alcroft was thinking by ruining a great chararters backstory for the sake of giving rusty a main bloody roll in an episode.
