I rented this a couple times as a kid after watching the movie (probably way sooner than I should have) and I think even then I knew this game had problems. Not the least of which is that it uses the same two songs throughout the game (even the credits; three if you count the title music). I remember even using a Game Genie code to give yourself protection from bullets and still only being able to beat the shopping mall because *everything* explodes and hurts you, it doesn't protect John or Sarah, and most of all, everyone on the highway is a suicide bomber.

@@WHIPTY I think I only knew about the phone book because of GamePro tips. And also that thing about the alarm at John's house where if you overlook that little thing, you play through the level with cops everywhere. Really, aside from the music, the worst part is the ending. A boss fight against the T-1000 after it falls in the steel? Sure, fine, whatever. But then you expect that iconic ending, but instead the Terminator pulls a Marty McFly and divides by zero to go back to the future, I guess, how else would you explain it? And they take away one of the most heroic deaths ever. The same music for all the levels being used for the credits *really* doesn't help, too. Thanks, music guy Shahid Amad, you really put in 110% into this game. Still one of the best movies of all time, game still sucks. Thanks for blitzing it.

A little tip about the second to last final boss fight. If you tap the firing button instead of shooting constantly, he doesn't disappear and reappear and you can constantly push him back, saving a good 20-30 seconds.

This is not the T2 game on genesis i remember having. I remember having a side shooter with the Genesis version of the shooter thing that resembled a grenade launcher and i think the 3rd level was literally impossible to beat.

Jeez this is almost tas quality. The music and the game is so damn corny. It's fun to just watch through for the weirdness factor once in a while. That corny music neve rstops xD There was an upload of this game in 4 parts, it seems to have gone now. That's sad. But this is a really good playthrough.
