Truer words have never been spoken. A great guitar player have their own novel inflections, speed, use of silence, vibrato, preference for b or e strings in making bends - the list goes on. Eric Clapton will still sound like Eric Clapton on a Squier Bullet. But this is simply a sad excuse for the abomination of a guitar - the Davison "guitar". BtW, the Squire Bullet is the same price as the Davison

Anyone think that they should make The Blade Artist into a film?
@HeavyMetalBeliever8 жыл бұрын
Yes. BUT... It'd probably have to be set in a different universe to Trainspotting and T2: Trainspotting though. Because, in the books (Skagboys, Trainspotting, Porno/T2, and The Blade Artist), Begbie has 2 kids with June but he's more-or-less abandoned them before the events in The Blade Artist.

I had a confrontation of sorts with Begbie on great western road in Glasgow after a really heavy day working with mattock. I am a precarious 6'8" diabetic that at that moment had a really sore back & a b's of 2.1. Narrow bit of path, some hanging branches. Begbie was waiting on a cash machine. I sort of clocked it was him, & did say excuse me & had to brush the the leaves out my way because the people wouldn't move. I get to the shop door and heard Begbie yell "FOR F#-+'S SAKE!!!" Then he comes into the shop after me dressed in a tie died t-shirt, wearing gold rimmed blue lens Lennon sunglasses to make a scene & example of me. "I SUPPOSE YOU THINK YOU'RE THE PHUQING BIG MAN, EH!?!". I thought he was having some sort of actors breakdown & didn't refer to him as Franco because of this & the fact my b's level was deadly low. This was summer 2015, before we knew of this film. It could have been character acting research, or Napoleon complex, or a chip on the shoulder about being type cast. A woman behind him said 'think of the children!', at which point he had a quick glance around & left the shop. He came screaming after my friend who was a postman shouting 'do I look like phuqing Auntie Suzie!?!'. Someone who researches their roles & should anything go wrong can get better lawyers. Really didn't need it, but it made my day.

No, he's right. They are completely different things. Psychotic people usually aren't even violent. The two definitions have nothing in common, besides the words sounding similar. It's an important distinction to make, if you don't want to label innocent people with legitimate mental health problems as violent, twisted psychopaths.

Not all paychopaths are violent actually. In fact the vast majority aren't. They COULD kill and/or harm without conscience if they chose but many want to avoid the consequences. They tend to exploit and abuse in more subtle ways.
@rabbisheckelstein5648 жыл бұрын
I didn't say they were all violent. Most of them aren't. But my comment was in relation to Begbie, who is violent. Please don't try to 'educate' people on things they already know just because you assume they are ignorant.
