Amazing Rick! Great techniques & paint effects to create a realistic burnt out vehicle. The softening of the plastic technique is always a good one to create those dents - although like you say ‘just 1 second too long’…🙈🔥 That cracked glass effect is genius, will have to get some of that glass glitter!! When you began with the yellow & orange paint it does look startling, but then it all comes back with the original colour going back on top. Was considering doing a burnt Horch in a future dio & this video will certainly give me the confidence! Well done - great video😊👌

Just away sit down to watch now shifts over thank god! Back to the model's lol Deluxe materials Real Rust set is amazing for doing burnt out vehicles! I used that AK set before for burnt out vehicles but mixing the 2 sets together it's just crazy the reality in scale amazing what abit of paint can't do!

That car looks so realistic and the metalwork you did is so convincing. When it comes to melting plastic or soften, I use a trick from Yoshi Hirano. I take of the incense sticks instead of the lighter as the sticks you get a more small area of heat. By thay you avoid softening parts you do not want to heat.
@RickLawlerPropaganda

Yes, incense sticks...I have heard of people using those with a lot more control. Next time!!! Thanks for watching.

Have you got a video that goes more indepth to using oil's? I'm new to oil's but really want to learn about them as progressing on now I've used enamels for weathering for past couple of year's really but never sure on how long to wait for the oil's drying before moving on to next stage for example or even sealing your work in if you do atoll before moving on to a next layer, see there's not any really good video's that actually explains the process for beginners to start it's all guess work! I don't mean beginner modeller's just beginners in oil's so we do have alot of like understanding in the way things are and what they are so that's going to take the worst part away from anything explaining oil's! I've colle a few of ammos and AK abt 502 oil's I'm still making up a big selection to work from! Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Charlie, I don't have a specific video that focuses upon the use of oils. I use them in nearly all of my projects, and so if you look back at some of the prior series, especially those focusing upon painting and weathering you will find a lot of examples. The second in this T34 series, T55 & M3 Lee would be a good starting point.
