Things to note about blockstar planet: All player models and world are creted by users. thats why some of the parkous levels are dog shit. its because some random kid just mashed their face into the screen and posted it. Entering random levels never gets you anywhere you have to actively look for and join the big ones. The account creation doesent ask you to buy premium im pretty sure. i remember playing this game waaay back. it was decently popular with a semi active playerbase. sad to see it deteriorate

Yknow, I play Blockstar Planet, and it's surprisingly not a horrible game. It heavily relies on user generated content, which is a great thing and a horrible curse at the same time. Considering there are literally no restrictions for creativity heeheheheh. Anyway. The parkour levels you played through were made by players. If you choose to play a random parkour, the game will literally take you to a random parkour map. You can either be thrown into something challenging or into a level that's just been created with the sole purpose of farming exp, coins and crystals easily. Players can put lots of different hazards into their maps, like lava, magma blocks, radioactive blocks, thorns and all that stuff that doesn't kill you immediately. There is also purple lava that does kill you immediately. Every player can make their own skins with practically zero limitations, so you're gonna see a lot of furries or people cosplaying as their favorite characters. Oh, and making an account is free, the VIP memberships are optional, but many people choose them, because they have a lot of percs. One of those percs being... being able to buy extremely overpowered weapons. But if you run out of your membership, you can keep all the members-only items you gathered, unlike in, for example, Animal Jam, in which once your membership runs out, you can't use any items or animals you got as a premium member. In the mining gamemode, you can upgrade your storage space and the strength of the laser for a currency you get in exchange for crystals you bring to the silly scientist girl. However the upgrades are only there for a single turn of the game, so if you leave or finish and begin another round, you have to buy all the upgrades again. You can actually have fun in Blockstar Planet. You can create skins, maps, paintings and all that. It has issues, for sure. The playerbase is... a playerbase... although, all and all, I guess nowadays it's less of a Minecraft copycat, and more its own little thing.

Actually I played block star planet a lot in my childhood and my favourite part of it was building your own skins it sorta worked like in that Pokémon X Minecraft build your monster game from earlier in the video. Also most of the maps on the parkours chats and battles and even mining are player made. My fav things about the game was socializing parkour and building. So yeah I really like that game ❤

I remember this old game called Eden Online or something like that, and one trick I always used to love was putting an ice slope facing towards a bounce block, and then putting a black above the bouncce block. Then, when you would stand on the slope, you would build more and more speed. Then, you would break the bounce block and go flying. It also allowed you to dye liquids any color. Very cool stuff. I rmeember a lot of people made piss rivers and crude pissing roosters online. Funny stuff. Used to play it as a broke kid with no money for MCPE plenty of times.

The original worldcraft was actually what got me into roleplaying and making stories. The multiplier worlds people made were popping and still kind of are. The famous worlds I remember are “FNAF0000”, “bestwolfpack”, “love clan” and “Pokemonplanet” though the latter died out even when I was playing the game. The game if you played the multiplier was good for being free. Even when I eventually got Minecraft I was still playing on the multiplier worlds. Hi, professional BlockStarPlanet player here. BSP is not really a minecraft ripoff, as it doesnt contain any sort of survival mode, creative mode, or stuff like that. Well yes, there is a building mode, but its NOTHING compared to minecraft building. Here, on Blockstarplanet, you build chat worlds, parkours, or battle worlds, and you later share them with people to get ratings and plays, you don't play this game to survive and kill mobs, gather resources, and so on. I have over 6000+ Hours in this game, and as a veteran of it, i feel highly offended. This game is nowhere near a minecraft ripoff, as it is not stealing any assets, isn't inspired by minecraft, or any other things like that. It is its own game, and not a ripoff at all.
