Hi I'm behind the game Super Mario Explore 4 Wario's Evil Empire and I see that you struggled with defeating Wario! Here's what to do! First when the spikes come in wait until Wario jumps and the beam comes out, jump over the beam first before quickly kicking Wario by pressing down and right! If you are fast enough you might be able to hit him multiple times before he attacks again! Super Mario Explore 4 is very focused on kicking enemies and not jumping on them sure as you can see you can jump on them but I don't recommend it it just makes the game less fun. Kicking enemies by pressing down key is what makes the game a lot more fun and this is same for Super Mario Explore 5 and 6! These games are very difficult aswell and take alot of practice to complete!

Scratch is like the Aldi version of Pygame or unreal engine. (for those who are confused Aldi sell bootleg foods and toys that merely dodge the copyright infringement system) scratch is a pretty good game development engine for kids. It teaches them stuff about coding, potential job opportunities, blah blah blah, but the games that these children make are abominable beyond recognition. *scratch isn’t a bad game software, I’m sure it has high quality games and a good standing player base, sorry to make any scratch fans cry

griffpatch made a tutorial on how to make a 2d mario game on scratch with more accurate physics, so it's most likely that the SMZ game used that tutorial as a base for making the game
