Good to see they addressed alot of the flaws in the T6.1, The plus 1 steering blocks as standard will immediately make it more driveable. I cant believe the amount of work I had to put in to get my T6.1 good on outdoor loose dirt :/ I think you are going to find this version much improved Razor. Great video as always.

thanks, my T6.1 was impossible to get running the way I wanted it to! I'm hoping this works a lot better out of the box, but I'm not sure they're going to have any carpet setups now that Broc Champlin has left Associated.

Lol immediately forwarded it to the guys in my club. A few of them now picked up the T6.2 hopefully race season can start soon.

Where is the next video?? Lol. Just brought one and oh boy it’s a close call between my Schumacher truck and the t6.2. Can’t wait to hear your impressions.

hehe, I finished the roller build over the weekend, should have a video on the build review first half of this week.

Titanium slipper bolt seems like a nice part, I'll be considering that for my T6.2 dirt build! I've been advised to get the aluminum 10g factory team AE front lower bulkhead as an 'essential upgrade'

I'm not sure about dirt, but I think so for carpet.

Stadium trucks are my favorite. So sad no one runs those around me. It's only buggies (hate buggies) and one place does short course some of the times if there is enoughfor a class. 😞. I turned my sc trucks into oval cars so I cam get some use out of them lol.

What would it take to upgrade a T6.1 to a T6.2 and would it be worth it?

Any plans for Whitz to get these motors ROAR approved? Would like to try one, but my tracks require that.

yup, they just got ROAR approved a couple of days ago!

Do schumacher truck wheels fit on the t6.2?
@andrewsumner53883 жыл бұрын
Yes I’m running them on my sc6.2.
@fencer393 жыл бұрын
How much does all that cost?. Seems fairly pointless to spend $300 dollars on a kit then god knows how much on stuff that wont make you and better ! And.......did you pay for it your self because very many of these RC channels are losing credibility with all thier hand outs and freebies they are being given Some dont pay for anything allegedly

All those parts are needed to go racing, part of the game! And he kept things pretty reasonable, no 'extravagant' purchases. Besides, he's a pretty experienced guy and, yes, those parts will help him go faster! 🤙
@alyssapeanut11353 жыл бұрын
I mean majority of those parts are really helpful in carpet racing, a brass or steel bulkhead helps with cornering speed due to the added weight in the front (plus added durability since ive heard that the stock plastic part is a weak point while running on carpet), ceramic bearings are nice for spec classes (not completely necessary though), that exotek slipper bolt is nice to reduce rotating mass, and a gear diff is necessary for carpet racing as opposed to the ball diff if you dont want to rebuild the ball diff between every heat. and regarding the electronics there are more economical options regarding servos (power hd r12 would be just fine and thats around $50usd), could swap out the hobbywing stock spec for a justock and save around $50 there, and go for a surpass v5s which would save around $30 over the motor hes showing there. regarding the sway towers they're a nice option for tuning and the steel esc plate is around 15g heavier in the front which makes a bigger difference handling wise than you'll expect
@jerryvolpini79873 жыл бұрын
@@alyssapeanut1135 Yep, a few goodies but nothing unreasonable. This IS a race rig so, you don't want to cheap out on electronics and you need some tuning options 👍
@alyssapeanut11353 жыл бұрын
@@jerryvolpini7987 honestly you can cheap out quite abit with electronics now, just gotta do your research first and not go for obviously garbo stuff. I'm personally running a skyrc ts120 and surpass hobby v2 7.5 in my rig and theres basically no noticable difference performance wise to someone running a more expensive esc and motor, I know its abit different regarding motors in spec classes but there are some really good options out there even on the lower end price wise

@@jerryvolpini7987 For some reason the new ae trucks seem to work better when they are close to 1900 grams, which means you have to add a bit of weight, certainly the tlr truck dosnt need as many extras to go fast (uses older geometry) but if you dial in the ae, I feel it will be a small amount quicker than the tlr.
