Unrelated to gameplay, but on the subject of Dragunov, I like how his Dark Resurrection pre-fight and win animations had two versions with differing camera angles. Admittedly, I used to think it was lazy, but nowadays, I would take that over him just having two win animations period in Tekken 7.

i used Drag's qcf+1 instead of f+1+2 from ch b+1, which imo looks even cooler and did more damage. TMM dont know if you already said it but the strict timing of a dash jab from a f+2,4 off of a qcf+2 was another thing too. also you could CC with ssl~iws+4 from snek edge to get a bound combo in t6.

WR 2 seems like the sort of move that should track okay to the left (his right) but otherwise be mostly linear and require you to be able to do an iWR if you want any utility out of it. Like anywhere outside of maybe half-dash range and you need a hard read to hit it even against someone blocking because they should be able to step that if they're on the ball. For a move with that much forward momentum you should have to pay a price if you don't understand how it works. Strong plus frames on block, great effects on hit, but you're weak to being perceptible.

worth noting about Dragunov's old b1 counter hit is that after a counter hit, you can also follow up with a qcf+1 or qcf+2. In terms of difficulty, both of these are hard to hit given the quarter circle input. Kinda wish he had that in T7. lol

It's weird how when they make Dragunov easier in T7 TMM's like "OH NO THEY RUINED HIM!" But they did the same with Jin and he doesn't complain. Jin's combos are way easier, actually do damage and have insane wall carry. His f4 gives a reliable CH combo, magic4 gives a reliable CH combo, EWGF now a NH launcher. d4 literally now one of the best low pokes since it's fast, high crushes and is only -12 on block. cd4 tracking unseeable low launcher that leads to like 50+ dmg.

he has a personality, i was even able to make my headcanons about him because i look alot at his behavior and its so super interesting (if you are a fan of him, you can see that he has a personality, i have met other fans and even some that write fanfiction, i have introduced a friend to him and even they think he has one) he really showed more of that in T6, the humming, we see him smiling, also other things but his dragunov/raven storyline can just fuck off, i wanna see more of his military life and not this bullshit

TMM can you do a Tekken 6 revisited for Law? Teach us some secret tech or something. Or just explain his massive changes since Tekken 5 DR because he changed a lot in Tekken 6. I think Marshall Law and Jin was the most overhauled characters in the game. Jin switched to Karate, this includes most of the animations and how he is played and also voice change (still the same VA but upgraded the grunts) Law still the same style but changed most of the animations, new neutral standing animation (removed the mustache as an extra) and new voice actor.

Then it progressed into iws with Dragunov. Until I’ve noticed one day that all I do is almost exclusively play Dragunov. Much harder. In t7 don't have to dash, you can actually just crouch into it. In t6/tt2 you had dash up iws4. Also the iws4 was the only option. In T7 you can even jab after ch running 2
