Worst part about fighting games with customization. So many players rush towards degenerate uses to get the tiniest advantage. Plenty in TTT2 using the same full-body costume in hopes their opponent would forget which they were fighting. Same in SFxT, douchebags would pick the training stage and color their characters to match the background to mess with your eyes.

I think Tekken 7 had better advertising. Akuma being included caught a lot of attention. Also, Street Fighter 5 was disappointing at launch, so that might have also helped Tekken 7.

This game was so fun to lab and play but my lord breaking throws was a nightmare. That's why i think T7 was so much more successful, way more accessible and also bringing in Akuma made everyone hype. People forget TTT2 had Snoop Lion for marketing, another factor as well I believe people were still riding for team Capcom, till they finally hurt their core fgc audience with SF5 and MVCI.

What I loved about older tekken games was it was less about super long juggle combos and more about the back and fourth. Don’t get me wrong, they were there to a degree, but less about popping them up and locking them there for a loooong time. I played Murdock and armored king, and when I played I was just timing pokes and the heavy hitting moves

My heart rate gets jacked when I play tekken online and I actually feel a bit shaky after a few matches 😆 I want to get better but I can only play a few games before I need a break. Does anyone else experience this and if so did you get de-sensitised with time? That spike in blood pressure can't be good for my health.

I suggest taking time between each match to do breathing exercises, lower that heart rate and let the adrenaline drain and reset.

I feel you man, I don't play online often and this sometimes happens to me too. Usually after a couple of matches (especially after winning one or two matches), I'm good and back in the game. But I agree with the other reply on here, just take a break and do some breathing exercises, then come back to it. After awhile you'll get used to it. You got this!

What I love the most about Tekken is that it's always had it's identity. They just change properties of moves, add in some new and take away some. MK for example drastically changes their characters and the game in general every year, that's why those games are either hit or miss. If you like MKX and MK9 like me you probably won't like MK11 and MK1 as much or not at all. If you like Tekken, you like all of them. Some are better or worse than the other but to me Tekken is the best of them all because if you're somewhat familiar with one games movesets since T6 you'll feel familiar with all movesets after that game and it makes it easier to understand.

It was confirmed that the gods in the GoW series, that the gods only affect their part of the world. So when Kratos killed Poseidon, his death didn't flood the world. It only flooded Greece, or when Kratos killed Helios, the sun only disappeared for Greece, not for the entire world. This is why Scandinavian isn't flooded and still has its sun in GoW 4 & 5. The gods in this series as people think they are, and that includes Kratos.
