one of my biggest regrets is not taking tekken seriously when I was younger and had the time to really put into the game like it deserves. Im much older now and simply dont have the time to be anything more than barely above mediocre in this game so I dont play but damn is this game saucy asf!!!!

It's actually very easy to learn like SF6 I think both franchises wanted to open up the game to more people. The combos aren't that difficult to execute its more about what to use when as a counter and publisher that's where the game separates beginners from pros.

Been playing this nonstop. Always been a Tekken fan since part 1 but honestly did not play 6 or 7. For whatever reason I decided to bite the bullet and man I’m glad I did. The graphics on this are so amazing on PS5 with my LG OLED! 😍😍😍 Main are Paul and Jin but just started playing with Reina.

I love Reina. Her design is awesome, her moves look sick, and she is super intuitive to pick up and play, even for a noob. They really outdid themselves with Tekken 8.

Couldn't be more wrong. Easy to pick up? Wait till you face solid opposition to realize she's not as good as she seems. Unless you're Ulsan of course. Also she's new so people not used to her will struggle at first, but when they know how she works, you feel useless. All her buttons are slow. If you don't have that kind of mobility you see in this video, you won't surprise anyone or catch them off guard.

@@rofltrolflyingfishIt has to be this way because there is chip damage and a character (Jun) that trades life for damage. So no, it’s still perfect, just a different kind of perfect due to game design but no less valid unless you have a bad mentality.

In SF6 if you tank some damage with a DI or another armored move u can heal up that chunk of damage if u don't get hit directly, so you can pretty much get a perfect there even when u theoretically take some damage.

Interesting… he’s not using her stances at all outside of guaranteed combo. Time will tell, but to me that suggests maybe devs should review them.

thats the best time to use them, especially since she gets some true combos off certain strings into stance. all and all, just throwing stances out gets you punish, you have to mix it up with stance cancels to freezes enemies up a bit. they def dont feel weak, but i wouldnt mind buffs lol

@@brandonwilliams3777 You can get jabbed out of them once you reach ranks where your opponent knows the timing. Her best mixes come from stance, so the fact that it's so minus is pretty unfun and dissatisfying if you want to play rushdown. I'm not a fan of having to whiff punish to get anywhere.

@@simoncoweII very true. But I learned to work around it with stagger pressure. Forward forward 2 into spin stance 3 is safe. Spin stance into 3+4 technically isn't safe but it's an amazing and sneaky low. Honestly a lot of her stuff isn't safe, but if you stagger good enough it helps
