That happened to me when I was a child and played this game like this (except I played worse than these two people). I built an army, sent it to the enemy and just controlled it, clicking buildings and units, and forgot about everything else. And then I used to look at my base 15 minutes later just to see that two thirds of it is in ruins. 11

@Mauricio José Osuna It is all about efficiency, better go to a wood line, also, stragglers could be used when you are being attacked and need to abandon your lumber camp or when you are running out of sheeps and don't have the wood to build many farms, you could send some vills to stragglers trees.

I literally cannot imagine the frame of mind a player has to be in in order to not notice that there is blue in their base, its even on the mini-map with highlighted points where they are being attacked, with loud ass notifications going off at all times and this happens for like 10 minutes straight. Man I just can't get it, he even just used the military when 10 rams were in sight and he clearly saw them. Instead of killing them first, he chose to kill the siege workshops and watched the rams go to his base??? 😂😂 A person that is playing AOE must probably know what a siege ram is and what 10 of them can do??? I just can't really understand how a persons gameplay can be so unbalanced. 😂

Regarding the coaching: I have seen high-level players in other games pick a person they know, or coop with other youtubers, to coach them on the game, but for content. Basically, the youtuber friend who is new to the game is making a "journey to rank/elo xyz" video series, with a high level player coaching them, to produce content (or, seen the other way around: a high level player making a "getting a new player to rank xyz" series). Not sure if thats your thing, but Im sure thats the person in chat meant.

Cuz blue was doing little to nothing to support those rams and little to nothing in micro I think. That means the catastrophe that was blues home would still have happened basically the same...but now red still has his TC and his billions of castles.He had to do just barely more than nothing and the game would have been SOOOOO lop sided for those last couple minutes. But instead he did exactly nothing. Wow. This shows it here folks, awareness wins games.
