@@TheBigLanowski It's a secret strategy that first emerged in 2013 but it's making a comeback with the recent balance changes. Works best with Vikings due to the free wheelbarrow and handcart

The irony is if Red had built 3 archery ranges at his forward castle instead of those 3 barracks and gone arbalest, he could've pulled this one out. He still would've needed way more galleons, but at least bracer and ballistics and thumb ring would've benefitted both. Going infantry against Vikings is always a bad call except for maybe Teutons and Japanese. 3 archery ranges for the win!

Btw, what is the best counter to Longships? By drawing conclusions from this match, FG is better against smaller numbers and unmicroed Longboats, while Galleys do way better against en masse LB. The reason I ask this cause I once defeated a Viking player on Italy using AoC Briton galleys, as I kept loosing so many Fire Galleys.

I believe the counter is demo ships behind fire gallons. Galleys are slightly worse than longships and should lose in equal number. Fireships counter longships 1v1 but a mass will destroy them if you cant get a good suround. Demos are suppose to counter mass of ships. So you use the fire ships as the meat shield for the demo ships.

it's astonishing to me to see blue in the feudal age, being pop-capped for several minutes. t90 makes comment 'oh blue is still not making fishing ships', oh boy i do wonder why XD , it is a good learning experience for blue surely

Dude you can do it man don't give up :). I made friends with a 700 elo Slav who probably has a hard time too and I tried to cheer him up and encourage him and we won a match together! It just takes practice, and I actually think watching random vids of low ELO legends but also pro players explaining why they do certain things rly helps you think out of the box once you get a grasp of what is possible :). It's always rough when you start. Once your rating matches your skill level you'll start seeing a win rate closer to 50%. Just gotta stick with it!

It's kind of funny to think that T90 kind of runs into the problem of thinking in terms of what would be the proper thing to do, not realizing that LEL brains don't work that way. Him thinking red built double back docks to go into galleys is just one, another is T90 thinking that just because Blue has vision over an area that means he actually sees a pair of boats sailing through it, because to him it's just natural to be paying attention, but 800 elo players struggle just to keep track of their own units let alone the enemy's.

Actually berserks are weaker then Champs. Champs beat them slightly and more eco efficient in straight fights. But berserks are more universsal (better anti trash; quite good against cav and etc) and great to raid due to their regen and speed. Watch Spirit of the law's analysis more T90, he s your friend after all) (i didnot mean any harm to u)

Why not have fishing ships go to Fish Traps, and create new ones out of newer docks. Fish traps are more efFISHient (on wood) and faster(w/ gillnets) than farms

T90 took an exclusivity deal with Facebook after being really unsatisfied with the way Twitch was treating him as a creator and wanting to be able to secure an income for his family. It would be great to stream on youtube after his exclusivity deal, but I completely understand why hes on there. Its really not that bad, but if your conviction is to stay off Facebook than more power to you, I just really want to see more T90 content.
