Super heavy spall liner! I swear by it on this tank. Arty loves to target them. It also frustrates the hell out of Japanese super heavies and others. Spall liner adds tremendous survivability.

I'm currently grinding my way up the the Hellcat/T110E4 tech tree now, but I was curious about what I missed on the tanks on the T110E3 tree. You delivered a comprehensive assessment of the T95. It is a slow tank and as you indicated you have to be patient to get the most out of it's strengths. As usual with your videos, you provided some helpful tips that can be used driving any tank. Thank you for providing the videos - I've learned so much from them.

The T28 and T95 are both very good tanks, and the same can be said of the T28 Prot and T30. The real difference is hull armor vs having a turret. I don't have the E4 but the cupola weak spot is a real vulnerability. I have the E3 and frontally it's really tough, but the side armor is butter and the lower hull is penetratable.

Nice vid. Box the way you dance nice in times of reload to make it harder to aim in your weakspots. You can take Up the gun to prevent additionally the weak hatch. Its the same strategy in the T110 E5

Personnally using a weird equipment setup : - Rammer for obvious reasons - Toolbox including the directives for better repairs and then using the third consumable spot for food - Superheavy spall liner, its really underrated. Since some peoples will not be able to pen the T95, they will shoot HE. The spall liner will render this strategy useless. Since your also docused alot by arty, it helps alot.

Good video. My only suggestion would be that you could have talked a little more about how to kill the t95 when you can't track and flank them. I almost only play mediums and these tanks are the bane of my existence. There's a spot on the side of sloped armour where you can pen them, but I'm never sure where. So, maybe another video where you're taking them out would be nice to see. Love your stuff, and that you're on NA, where I sometimes see you. Cheers

I play the T95 with vents, repair kit and spall liner, very defensive anti HE layout, keep the distance as you said at cca 200m unless I am 95% sure the guy in front is the last one so I can push into him without having 2-3 guys on my back. The lesser DPM doesn't really hurt so much, but the arta hits you for nil and your fast repair gives you so much more mobility (due to not sitting untracked for a minute which can very easily happen when focused by more tanks). Yea, also I have both repair kits which I use only when people try to rush me by tracking shots and flanking wishes ;) With 2 kits it very very seldom works. Yesterday I surprised a tier 8 wheeled guy, waited for his 2nd track then used my kit and right after the 3rd track detracked with 2nd kit and boom shot him in the face, enjoyed it a lot ;) The DPG is still well over 3k, the main debilitating factor is not the reload but the speed, if your team is too good compared to enemy you will lose the potential damage on certain maps...

Great video. I use nets on all my TDs except the heavies, which for me is the JP E100 now. That said, I rarely play that tank anymore. Everyone just spams gold at it and the armor, while really good, just doesn’t hold up. I normally go with rammer, net and binos, however I stopped using the the binos on my SU100 because the aim time was killing me and the accuracy is so bad that I am not taking those longer distance shots anyway. I might switch to vents and see how that works. I keep the net on it because the armor is not quite good enough to bully unless it is against lower tier tanks, which I rarely see anymore. I have actually already unlocked both of the next tanks from the SU100 but I am enjoying playing it so much that I haven’t bothered to purchase either of them. It has my best win ratio right now, somewhere in the mid sixties, I think. I am not sure which of the next two lines to go down. I am leaning towards the SU100M1.

With the t28 gun the DPM is better than the t54, but does lack penn compared to the top gun. But I’ve been able to chew through multiple tanks quick with it. It’s great for top tier, but I’d rather have the big gun when it’s 5-10.

On the O Ho that's understandable. The T95 actually has solid view range and excellent camo. Say no to Spall Liner on the T95, Optics provides better value.

Tank is a bit OP with that top speed and Traverse buff (which it never deserved IMO) but coming from console (they nerfed the traverse to 15 but mainly played it before they did that) it never needed this kind of change. funny in how 7kph really changed how this tank plays. and shows to me the T30 needs some more love.

I don't think the T95 is OP. It can be difficult facing one in a corridor, but it's slow and the general principle is to avoid it frontally. I've done statistically better in the T30 compared to the T95. The T30 has a turret and superb gun depression, and slightly better mobility. The T95 has a better armor profile but is slower and lacks a turret.

I'm not half the player you are, but my t95 has a 5 skill crew situational awareness, Recon, repairs, I use food puts me at 438 view range, vents, rammer, heavy spall liner. Plus I carry an improved tool box Tracks repair in 2 seconds. It really works well for me.

I'd recommend dead eye for this tank, the 155mm does 210 module damage, the highest of any gun in tier 9. If you have dead eye, it will do 216 module damage. Soviet tier 10 heavies have 210 health ammo racks and will consistently explode when struck.

@@tomislav5689 It's finicky, if you have vents and cola, is can be up to a 5 or so % increase, but certain guns benefit significantly more if they're at a borderline module damage threshold. That's why it's so good for the 155mm at7 gun for the t30 and t95. Many heavy tanks have 210 health ammo racks, IS-7, Obj.705A, tp60, Obj. 277, unless they have wet ammo racks, or safe stowage will brew up nicely if hit.

If I'm facing one of these things at mid ranges I aim directly below the gun mantlet - if you have a reasonably well trained crew its pretty much a guaranteed pen and easier to target than those tiny cupolas.

I notice you do not mention a spall liner. I use one on this and I know a lot of others do too. The tank is an obvious arty magnet and with Types 4s and 5s being such a danger too, this mitigates some of that. Some people also use a ToolBox. Both of these choices probably instead of vents. Maybe if you have some fire crew or use the fire crew directive (so you can run cola), Spall or toolbox is an option. What do you think?

I ran with Toolbox initially, and I found that with double repair kit and a repair crew that it was not necessary. Partly because the side armor is so thick. Not a fan of spall liner. I mostly avoid taking arty fire either through use of hard cover / lanes OR through vision control so I don't get spotted. As the saying goes, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Re the spall, though, I think this is more of a tight choice. Remember, you are a unicom, whereas most of us watching you are somewhere lower - in my case WN8 of around 1350. This means we are more likely to get hit by arty than you are, even though we can avoid it for the most part.

Late to the Party, only just got it over the Weekend.... I'm trying Suspension so I can use the 155mm, Spall Liner and Rammer.... Crew isn't Great, but I did usea Twitch Commander if I recall... Since I'm Slow I try to stay with the Heavies and Support them if I'm not at the Top, Lead them once I get there if I am..... Otherwise, depending on the Map, I'm the Guard Dog at Places we don't want Red tanks to Go......

I don't have the Tortoise. The cupola on the Tortoise is much easier to hit, and the frontal hull is vulnerable to gold ammo. But the Tortoise has much better gun depression and DPM.

when is that moment when you drop vents for rummer? optics, stabs and vents are my standard for most of tanks. i`m not sure that rummer makes a difference when you are around 49-50% win rate or when your tank is around 8 second reload... p.s. thank you for another great video.

Rammer is pretty much required on the vast majority of tanks. Usually the tradeoff for Vents is Vents vs gun handling (VStab, GLD), or Vents vs vision (Optics, Binocs). Given that the T95 has solid gun handling and great armor, the GLD is not needed so I run with Vents instead.

You are getting sloppy Taugrim :P Two missed points. Vents are good but they get progressively better as your crew gets better as they give 5% extra on ehat you have. What would I do, I would go for rammer optics and spal liner. You need it as every battle with a clicker you will get clicked at least once. Also there is a lot of he spam from Jap ht's. Second thing, usefull thing to have is jack of all trades on comander as crew dies easy with all those clickes. And second point, there is reliable frontal weakspot. Aim between two tracks even frontaly (best way is to test it out in training room first). Just hover aim circle over tracks in the middle its gonna turn green even if you have something like 200 pen. You might need bit bigger calibre gun, 100 mm should do. PS. When I said between two tracks I didnt mean lower plate, since it has double set of tracks on each side in between any of those

Na zalost moram da se slozim sa ovim sto cu sada pejstovati: Problem is, the way HE damage works, it always find the thinnest armor within its splash radius and uses that for the damage calculation. It´s quite rare to take an HE hit with just the thick of your armor, you can, for example, just derp someone in the turret front and the splash damage will be calculated based on the thickness of the engine deck as that is within radius. And even if you hit a 200mm plate and nothing else on something like a Maus, that´s 100 damage you take less in a tank with 2000 - 3000 HP. Maybe once per match if you´re lucky, that just doesnt compare to the other options which will aide you with every shot you take or just permanently up your view distance. The only real noticeable difference with the spall liner is the crew protection. I´ve run tests with my Maus and my buddy´s Deathstar, the reduced damage is a joke. I highly suspect that most people claiming otherwise just suffer from the placebo effect.

The one thing you touched on that can help a lot of players is your loadout for that T95. Most people have no clue about the equipment and skills that would make them better players. An obvious thing from your garage is that most of your tanks do not have a crew in them. I would guess that you tend to move a very good crew between tanks.

1. The first 10 seconds of each review video - for years - has the crew and equipment I used in that tank 2. The description for each review video - for years - has also included the 3 equipment choices I recommend BTW, it depends what you mean by "very good crews". In some tanks, I start with gold crew members and build their skills up over time. In others, I re-train crews to a new tank. It depends how many tanks I actively want to play for that nation and class.

IMO no. Rammer, Vents, Optics is optimal based on the tank's mechanics. You should never use Binocs on an assault tank. Binocs are for squishy sniper tanks.

Hmm...great tank when you play against it in tier 7 or in som of tier 8-s, but if you play t95 be aware that your most of the time (90%) gona play against tier 9 and 10. In this circumstances your armor is awerage and weekspots are too big (ewen frontaly, not just two cupolas but alsoparts side of gun and two pairs of tracks)....tank is simply one one big slow week spot and is werry situational. Wont recomend it for longer play...simpli grind trough it as fast as posible.
