They never realize what damage it can do to children. It's sad that they don't follow spiritual ways of raising kids, but just materialistic and modern and trying to copy relatives, neighbors, friends, etc. on how to raise children. If evolution forced humans to do things a certain way, then we'd have become robots with 0 freedom by now. Sadly today's world is shortsighted about life. They see life as 1 lifetime and use YOLO to justify their concerns. Only thing children need to do is serve God. That's all to be honest. Serving humanity is robotic and yield no longterm returns but extinction of the human species. Serving God yields extraordinary spiritual returns.

First off, I'll say that this has been one of my favorite movies in my life. I saw it in the short time that I spent at a school for adults with learning challenges. Something we have to take a step back on is in telling anyone that they are special and unique because of a physical, mental, or emotional challenge. Obviously, all would agree that they are just as special as anyone else, and they would be just as special without the challenge. I think in an effort to be sensitive we end up making the mistake of being patronizing. If we're honest, using the word "special" really only makes us feel better. Sure, there is no clearly defined normal, but there certainly does seem to be a certain threshold of functionality, of which many of those below it are quite aware of their differences. I'm not feeling like the wisest person here tonight, so I'll stop trying to be. I think you kind of already hit on some the following points. What is special is the relationships that are had. Everyone has their own set of challenges, whether internal or external, and we all have special opportunities to learn things that we might not learn as well any other way. Both the child with the needs, and the guardians of that child have a unique opportunity to learn things about themselves, and from each other that they might not learn otherwise. And the opportunity is not unique because no one else is having it--millions of people are all having similar experiences, and it's necessary to be able to relate with each other--but our experiences are unique and special, because of the people having them and who they get to share with in the experiences. We really can't foresee the blessings that are certain to come from enduring through hardships...together. Above all, I know that we are here to learn about the power of love and just how far it reaches. And I truly believe that God is love, and he is the power of love inside of us. I do believe in an actual being, but I also believe that his love is within each and every one of us, as well as all around us (like radio waves to be tuned into). The best description of pure love, to me, is found in the book of 1 Corinthians, Chapter 13, in the bible. The very first thing it mentions about "love", or "charity", is that it "[suffers] long, and is kind" (v. 4). It is patient and enduring. It is the only thing that will endure and live forever, and those humble, fearless souls that are filled with it. Love only flows one way, but it always moves in a circular motion and brings us together into a stronger unity, allowing that we exercise patience, because love can never be forced, nor would it be rewarding if it wasn't given freely and faithfully.

There's almost no awareness about mental health issues or of mental illnesses in India. Especially in the previous generations and it is sad. There's so many kids going to school regularly who are facing such issues and they face so much trouble in the schools as they aren't given the proper care they deserve. Before this movie, it was so much worse. This movie when it came out like almost a decade and half ago, was an eyeopener.

I don't find the Dad hateful in this movie. I was actually surprised with all the hate that he got from different reactors. I see this type of parenting all the time. This for me, is typical Asian parenting. Also, in my country, Mental Health is not prioritized unlike here in Canada/USA. I guess, it's because 1st world and 3rd world countries (like us) have different problems. Mental Health issues are not considered problems if finding money to put food on the table is the priority. It's like, we have much more important matters to deal with. Also, don't forget, in Asia, it's common for parents to compare their children and brag about their achievements. I grew up with a family like this. Physical discipline is also very common. Hitting by hand and/or hitting with anything-the-parent-is-holding-at-the-time is very common. I experienced some of these growing up. From being hit by a broom (the wooden handle part), flipflops, plastic hanger, belt (leather and buckle part), etc. I would get bruises right after. Lots of my clothes are rendered unusable since my mom would destroy them when she pulls/pushes me too hard while angry. I have also tried kneeling on uncooked rice or salt or bottle caps facing the altar and having my hands raised into a cross carrying a thick and heavy hardbound Bible on each hand for hours and being hit by flipflops while doing so. My knees would be bleeding right after. My cousin, when she was around 6-7 y.o., she was put inside a sack, my Aunt even put fire ants inside the sack with her, tied the sack close, and dragged it all over the streets then, hanged outside the house for hours. And what might be surprising to others, this is common in my country. We laugh about these things now when we share stories with cousins, friends, coworkers, etc. on how similar or how different the methods of punishments we received before. What Ishaan's Dad did here was just hitting by hand, this is nothing. 😅 I know these are not things that I should be proud of but this is just to educate other people of other cultures as well and to understand why certain people are like this, or like that, etc. It's because of different styles of parenting, upbringing, environment, culture, etc. Believe it or not, I am okay as an adult now and I don't hate my parents for punishing me that way before. I understood what they were doing growing up. Running away never occurred to me either which is what's common to children today and to the children of 1st world countries. I am also fully aware that that is considered "abuse" to some people/countries. So, yeah. To each their own. 🤷♀️

Taare zameen par 3.) Munna bhai M.B.B.S. 3 idiots is related to engineering education in india, Munna bhai M.B.B.S. is related to medical education in india and taare zameen par is related to schooling and parenting in india. I want you to react to Munna bhai M.B.B.S. movie after completing this taare zameen par full movie reaction. Plsss🙏🙏🙏 this is my humble request . You will definitely love that one also it is quite similar to 3 idiots. One interesting thing to note is that the director of 3 idiots and Munna bhai M.B.B.S. is same. And the director name is Raj Kumar Hirani. He is the magnificent director. He beautifully presents the reality of engineering and medical students in india by dropping out ( 3 idiots and Munna bhai M.B.B.S.)
