@ which baffle did you get? Loud medium or quiet

@ mine never came with the option to change the baffles. I removed the one on there and it sounded horrible so I left it the way it came.

Hey Frankie, that Tab exhaust takes that 500 from "an angry sewing machine" to a real motorcycle sound! Now there's just 4 other exhausts I need to hear on a 500 or a 750 street model before I finalize my choice! 🏍️👍⭐⭐⭐🤓Doug

I can't find any sound clips but stealth exhaust makes a full system for the street and it has 18mm bungs for wideband 02s. It looks awesome too. 680 I think which is a good price for a full system

Hey Frankie - after watching your video on Monday I ordered a Tab exhaust. Ordered Monday afternoon and received in Sydney Australia Thursday morning - amazing! Took 20 minutes to fit it. Amazing sound so much better that the Screaming Eagle muffler that was on there. Cheers

That is awesome to hear! enjoy your new exhaust. Makes the bike sound like a real Harley and imo its well built.

That sounds so much better. Didn't look too easy to get it in place. I'm just about to order mine. Nice safety boots in the workshop. Cheers

Thanks! Yea the exhaust makes a huge difference. Install was not too bad, sometimes the stock one acts stubborn and doesn’t want to come off.

I was keen to buy the Tab muffler, but it cost over $500 here in NZ. So, i decided to modify the Screaming eagle muffler on my 2015 street 500. I just removed the 1st two-thirds of the fiberglass material, and tack welded a sheet of steet around the outside of the smaller section of perforated tube... essentially turning it into a straight pipe. The larger tail section has the padding still in it. Been told a few times it sounds good. LOUD, but not ridiculously so.

Hi frankie . Im looking at getting the tab exhaust . Do you remember whether you got the 1.75 inch baffle or the 2.25 inch baffle ?

Sorry for the late reply. I searched my inbox for the receipt and couldnt find it. So I went to TAB's website, and tbh I dont remember having the option to choose the baffle size when I ordered mine.

hi, nice bike there mate. do you need to retune the big after changing the mufflers?

Big change in sound, and notice more throttle response. Nothing too crazy but I have no regrets.

If you’re just adding the muffler you don’t really need to retune however I did. It will sound better and take advantage of the changed pipe.

What dò u think is louder Vance hines or tab?

Good question, I love the tab because its price point and it is very solid. It has a removable baffle which will make it even louder which I have not done yet because I think its already pretty loud. As far as V&H, people that have em are happy. However I heard my cousins V&H and with his baffle in it didnt sound any louder than mine and he has a bigger harley than mine.
