Thanks a lot guys, I'm trying to eat my lunch while watching this and I'm nearly hacking-laughing so hard from your impressions: Scooby Doo, Shaggy, Casey Casem...Spade's voice has the right squeak for the Scooby/Shaggy voice. Dana is legendary for Casem impression, love it! Quick thought about the Stern vs Seinfeld debacle...Jerry should've known better. Howard is UBER sensitive, always was, which back in the day, prompted destroy mode when ANYONE would say anything even remotely negative about him. Although Jerry did not directly say that Stern is not funny, he did "dismiss" his comedic abilities. He should know, you don't have to be a stand-up comedian to be funny or a comedic superstar, a la: Steve Carell, Will Ferrell etc... Anyway, glad it's resolved and hope there's no resentment, we need to unite not divide. Love BOTH podcasts from these two icons. Peace & Love

57:30 true story, gene wilder loved being on the set of Young Frankenstein so much that I think on the last day of shooting, he kept offering up suggestions for alternate takes and Mel Brooks was like "what are you doing? we're done. we're wrapped, we got it" and Wilder just got super despondent and admitted that he didn't want to leave... it'd been the happiest he'd been in years.

True Story: Fred Willard used to carry tools with him when staying in hotels. The bell would drive him nuts when trying to sleep if he was too close to the elevator, so he would get his toolkit and disable the bell on his floor. Sometimes he would do it on the floor above and the floor below. This story has been told by both Martin Mull and Chrstopher Guest as an example of how gloriously nuts he was.

Speaking of portals, I actually witnessed and documented my friend going through a portal and never returning. It was on a booze Cruise when I was younger and my friend Vinny was really drunk and on a dare jumped out one of those small round windows, he was a good swimmer and thought he could make it back. As we later learned sharks were following the boat to catch whatever food scraps and vomit they could. So when Vinny landed they really hit the 13:58 jackpot. What made it extra sad- this was before tik Tok, because my my video of him would have got millions of views today.

When Stern was on Comedians in Cars it became clear, how he and Jerry are alike. Listening to what he said on your podcast - he said "we're better" meaning "comedians". LOL Bing's AI says this about a stacked locker prank: A “stacked locker” prank involves placing multiple alarm clocks inside lockers, all set to go off simultaneously. When people pass by, the cacophony of ringing alarms becomes annoying and confusing. The best part? No one knows how to turn them off because they can’t open the lockers! 😄 If you’re feeling mischievous, you could also try the “White Out Prank” by painting over the numbers on a combination lock or the “Zip Tie Prank” where you secure all the locker edges with zip ties, leaving the victim scrambling to find scissors to open their locker1. Just be sure your victim has a sense of humor! 😉
