I miss the bag of water. What does Ikebukuro mean? Google says undo. Also I see pond bag. Downstairs between the Tobusen and JR train lines is what I call the standup place. It's a small room with lots of various very affordable food vendors. No chairs, thus the small place with so many vendors. I love that dim sum vendor that has a window facing out to the walkway. So good and cheap! Tell me it's still there! Ikebukuro was my transfer train station between the Tokyo Dome (where I start my journey home from work) to Nakaitabashi where my apartment was. I miss Tokyo. My tummy tooooo! You guys make my tummy so sad 😢. Thanks for making me sad!😖😊😜😍✌😀👍💞

My favorite way to eat those dumplings is to first drink the soup, then using the opening from my small bite, I fill the dumplings generously with chinese vinegar and chili oil(the chinese kind, unfiltered chili oil with the half layer of roasted chili on the bottom), and eat it in one bite. Then I get a hot-sour-meaty flavor explosion. :D

All that food looked so good, my personal favourites would be the fried soup dumplings, the spicy tofu stick and those cheesecakes they looked like heaven. Like you i had a sad face when i saw that the dorayaki store was closed but i guess that they either have a limited supply to sell or they are just that good...I'm going for the latter option. But it's nice to see the less popular area's of Tokyo getting a shout out as places to go and get some tasty snacks. Great job as usual guys!! ❤️❤️❤️
