I believe the song is the key to ending it all. And Jade and Tabitha arent actually helping like they think they are I feel like they are tied this town in a bad way like some sort of recruiting agents. I feel as though the children enchanted a spell that birth the tree and trapped in song into bottles. But them playing the song broke the enchantment causing this figure to appear during the day and possibly the talismans may not work anymore. Also remember they said the answer is at the beginning they must have meant the song is the answer.

Also Julie is the true savior of the town not Jade and Tabitha. Julie main existence is to go back in time to warn the town of what’s going to happen, and she’s the one who gives Boyd the rope in the tower allowing him to get to Martin so that Martin can give him to the ability to defeat the monsters “the worms in his blood” is only thing that killed a monster, Boyd is Martin, they chained Martin and anyone else that posed a threat to their existence. So that means Randall Julie and Boyd are the saviors of the town.

The key to understanding From is knowing psychology and astronomy. Because the narrative is the sun's journey, best understood as Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey (one and the same), and the character's are a collection of complexes and Jungian archetypes best understood with cognitive maps. Whether the show goes into the direction of reincarnation or aliens or something else, these are all metaphors for the fact the show is representing the patterns within the subconscious of a repressed mind suffering trauma. The moment that seals it is the appearance of the man in Yellow, which represents the superego. Before we get there, the key word is remember, this is the clincher also. Everything has already happened, there is no time travel or reincarnation, there is just the loop of false memories the mind is stuck in, every archetype is just another failed cycle, not a reincarnation. This cycle is different, because they are remembering the repressed truth instead of living a fantasy. That's why the place is changing. The place is also changing because of the overall narrative. Jade playing music, using the energy of sound, the rebirth of the sungod during the winter solstice, the rebirth of Smiley, and the appearance of the man in yellow as Tabitha remembers the truth all happens simultaneously for reasons. Jade and Christopher embody the magician archetype just like Tabitha and Miranda are the hero archetype. The mind has been recreating archetypes to perform in front of the Big Other. Other characters, like Jim, are not archetypes, they are complexes (Archetypes are from the collective unconscious and complexes are from the personal unconscious) The Boy in white is the unconscious self and the monsters are the repressed trauma, the people responsible for the child sacrifices. The man in yellow is the superego and Jim wasn't real, he was the Oedipus complex. That's why they said they aren't your kids, that's why he staggered when he realizes he isn't real, that's why we have that flashback of him saying sometimes I remember when it wasn't like this. When Tabitha remembered the truth Jim (Oedipus complex) became irrelevant. The superego is a cruel, harsh and prosecuting force. The superego also emerges as a defense mechanism to resolve the Oedipus complex and represses the complex's strong feelings. That is why the man in yellow (superego) kills Jim (Oedipus complex). And From is the stage in the subconscious, the Big Other the archetypes are performing in front of to find the real circumstances leading to the children being sacrificed. For a comparison just look at Lynch's Lost Highway, the man in black is the superego and Mr eddy is the Oedipus complex. That's why it is the superego that shoots Mr Eddy while they are in Fred's subconscious and not the main character Fred killing Dick Laurent in real life. Because Mr Eddy/Dick Laurent didn't really exist, it was the superego resolving the Oedipus complex. That's also the reason we have the cryptic message "Dick Laurent is dead" at the beginning and end of the movie, because everything has already happened before Act 1. It is also representing the closed loop, the mobius strip, which is also what Julie and tge rope represents. We are just seeing the mind working out what is a real memory from what has been a fantasy or dream. And just like in real life, shedding light on darkness, unifying and recognizing your personalities and "Letting go" is the key message. It is the only way to raise your frequency to a higher level.

I mentioned last season in jeremy stream, when the cicada showed up i automatically assumed something is gonna get rebirth or reanimated simply because in manga series or some Japanese folklore or teaching cicadas are recognized as repopulation or spreading seeds, and cicadas burst out of smiley i was like hmm that's interesting, but I was surprised it smiley reanimation and I'm glad it wasn't a baby trope, fatima as we see was basically hosted like a parasite

How can it be reincarnation? Do the ages add up? Tabitha might be 35-40 years old. Victor might be 50. His dad could be around 75 so Miranda would have been around that age. Victor was 8-10 when his mom died. The math would be really close. Also, when did Victor's mom have time to have a baby with Christopher?

It kept talking about HOPE and the main guy was carving into a rock (talismans??) Are they playing some 4D chess and making an undercover spinoff?? Miranda and Christopher didn’t have a child together, they are just reincarnated versions of an original couple, like Tabitha and Jade. We have not seen the original versions/souls of Tabitha/Miranda and Jade/Christopher.

It was oddly too specific to pay too much attention to an imperfection. So it felt like reincarnation as the soul is always doomed to repeat specific things their past lives did. In this case doomed to make a bracelet with that specific imperfection

Like they were part of the original village - the rest of the town made the deal to sacrifice the children and became monsters . Tabitha and jades souls in that village tried to save the children because one of them was their daughter . Miranda and Christopher were never together ( that we know )

Question: Tabitha isn’t/can’t be Miranda reincarnated because she and Jade were destined to be togethe, correct? Also, imo, Victor can’t be trusted because he took his father to the graveyard he made…so why did Victor lie to Tabitha that he didn’t know what happened to his mom or sister? Also, the monsters were successful with the sacrifices because with Smiley’s return, it shows that he is immortal - which means that the sacrifice of the kids doesn’t have any real impact on helping the townsfolk escape, right?

Notice how Miranda left Henry behind before coming to From. Also, notice how Tabitha was going through a potential divorce with Jim before coming to From. It seems like none of her relationships outside of Jade works.

@ I noticed that, but she saw the vision when she gave Victor a hug- so it has to be Victor projecting his memories onto her. The monsters were protecting Victor from the beginning, even ensuring that he had canned peaches. Then Victor told everyone that his mom went to the bottle tree to save the kids- he said how he didn’t know what happened to his mom or sister- but then he shows his dad where he buried them. I thought I would’ve had more answers with this season but I have more questions.

Because Jade and Tabitha couldn’t save their daughter and the rest of the children they have come back over and over again . They weren’t together in the other cycles ( or at least 2 of them ) . I don’t think they were destined in the sense to return to each other but to save the children . With that said I want them together so I hope that’s the direction they go. I mean Tabitha other ‘husband ‘ in fromville is too old for her and Jim is ☠️. So it’s not far fetched for her to end up with Jade .

@ It took for them to be together in order to remember what happened. Ethan said that once the story is written, it can’t be changed and the sacrifice of the kids actually worked because Smiley is back. Julie has failed multiple times to save her dad.
