I was literally watching the video you and Chance were talking about gift giving for the holidays and the notification came on for this video😅 Tab, have you tried soaking the jackfruit for a few hours (changing the water a few times) to get rid of the brine taste? It makes all the difference! I do that when I want to cook with jackfruit and after soaking I drain them and wrap them in a towel to make sure they are "very dry" ( that's the secret). It takes some time to prep in advance but it makes all the difference in the final result 😉😘🌱

I didn't know that fresh jackfruit is very hard to find . Most supermarkets wont sell it because the demand isnt high enough and it's too expensive to waste if no one buys it. I'm so glad Walmart sells canned jackfruit. I can't wait to try this recipe. 😋😋😋
