I don’t have much volume or hair so once it’s dry again I break the cast and gently have to shake it and flip to add volume 🤷🏻♀️ sometimes we don’t have the amount of hair so the end product is t the same.

@billiev87054 жыл бұрын
Edit Lundstedt Have you tried brushing it upside down with a Denman brush or wide-tooth comb while it is wet? It may also help to have it cut in blunt layers to eliminate some of the weight. Also, avoid leave-in conditioner on the top 10 cm of your hair. Mousse or foam will help your hair curl a bit more there.

@wge6213 жыл бұрын
@@editlundstedt1220 did it work? I have the same issue but I'm still waiting for my root clips to arrive. For those that don't know what this is, it's when you get small clips (usually claw clips) to clip up the top of your head in small sections so that it's not pulled down by the weight of your hair and can dry curlier closer to the root

@jamieelizabeth21854 жыл бұрын
I found the best solution to keeping my curl or wave. I flip my head down and take all my hair on top of my head and just twist it into a bun and then put a sleeping cap on. Do NOT use a hair tie or scrunchy, just twist it on the top of your head. The only thing that sucks is if you sweat in your sleep. But it has saved me tons of time in the mornings, I’m a single mama and work full time so mama don’t have time for any extra bs in the mornings lol

Omg yes! My hair is almost the same as yours, it’s top half layer is all pretty, it’s filled with 2b waves and loose ringlets and curls, but the bottom half layer, the hair underneath, is straight (basically when you sectioned your hair off). I honestly don’t mind it though lol. I’ve always wanted 2b type hair and I’ve always had small loose ringlets where my bangs were, and to have them throughout my hair is just a bonus! My hair was really straight when I was younger but as I grew older it got more and more wavy. Loved the video and I hope you and your family are well and best wishes! 🌻❤️✨

Lena C - Awwww happy to not only be the only one! I was gonna do a hair routine but then my mom dyed it and I ended up cutting it and have to retrain my hair again, one side is nice, but the other side isn’t waving as much anymore, it’s awkward and not as uniformed like it used to. I had a video of me doing some everyday spring makeup and you can see my hair there if you want, but thanks to stupid KZbin, the quality goes up to 480p, when I recorded, edited, saved, and uploaded it on 1080p. But nonetheless, I hope this helps in any way. I hope you and your family are well and best wishes~ 🌻❤️✨

@@-lovecassy_333 ok I watched your video and omg your hair is so shiny and voluminous! and your skin is beautiful too!! sadly I have very thin hair and it's blonde and always so dry and frizzy. Im just at the beginning of my wavy hair journey. For years I thought my hair was just straight poofy and frizzy and I just found out that if I add a curl cream, scrunch it and dry it with a diffuser that I get 2b waves. But I have to figure out how to get it more volumino and shiny.
@-lovecassy_3334 жыл бұрын
Lena C - lol yes, I understand the struggle. I have always loved vintage waves and loose curls and when I saw the hair type 2b, it was everything I dreamed of. I always had small loose ringlets by my bangs, so that was a bonus. I was scrolling through some wavy hair videos and saw a girl with hair frizzy and poofy just like mine, so I finally decided, you know what? Imma do this. And I did, I started this year in February? My mom had gotten me a lot of curl products as an early bday gift and that’s when I started to use products. Gel was definitely a helper, as it helped wave the under section of my hair. I looked back at the video and do miss my hair longer but it’ll grow, just needs time to heal. Thank you for the compliment on my skin! So sweet and means a lot. I’m trying to make videos but editing is a killer and don’t have much time but I’m still hopeful. But I really want to make a hair routine soon, once my hair is back in order, cause I hope and want it to be there for others who might have questions or need help about their own hair journey. So thank you for your lovely comments, they mean a lot. Much love and hugs~ 🌻❤️✨
@-lovecassy_3334 жыл бұрын
Lena C - Also, I hope this helps ease the dryness of your hair, try to get a deep conditioner, as it acts as a moisturizer for your hair. I use the Cantu leave in conditioning repair cream (as my hair was damaged in the beginning) and a little goes a long way. Also, I personally reverse wash my hair, as it’s quicker for me, and it’s really good and known to be very helpful for people with thin hair and can cut down frizziness. Just some tips in case you don’t already do them. And ya, hope this helps~ 🥺🌻❤️✨

Do you comb through your hair or anything? My hair is really tangled on the second day
@tabithagingerich4 жыл бұрын
I don’t brush or comb my hair in between washes unless I’m going to wear it up or heat style it. If you absolutely need to, I would say to get your hair pretty damp or even wet and just add a styler then let it dry. Everyone is different, some people can still get definition when they brush out their hair, but for me I find that it just makes my hair poofy and gets rid of any definition.. hope that helps!
@MissLida4 жыл бұрын
I know, I literally can't go without tying my hair into a braid before going to bed because it instantly becomes horrible, fragile, breaking knots that I cannot brush out. So I brush it daily now with some jojoba oil and then tie it into braids and the next day if I take it out I have super soft waves...to get it to be voluminous you can do boxing braids over the top of your head because at least for me, sleeping on it just doesn't work. And I never wash my hair in the morning and style that way haha.

The rest of the week I brush it while it’s dry, wet it in the shower, then scrunch with a shirt and diffuse. Do you think maybe the water is rinsing out the product? Because my hair always looks great the day I put in all the products, but doesn’t look AS good as wash day. Still looks good though, Idk if I’m doing it right, but I don’t have a spray bottle so I thought maybe wetting it in the shower might be easier

Hey I love your videos. I know this is a very old video, but I hope you see my comment and reply. My hair is more or less like yours. My problem is that do we really need to do so much work to keep our hair looking presentable? Like I don't remember doing anything to my hair in my childhood and I had really good curly wavy hair. Now it baffles me that I must do so much just to get an hour of presentable hair. Why can't I just brush them and be done? :(
