i let them break off naturally, and i hate cutting them too short, i can use the pinkys as flat tip screw drivers , in light industrial applications .

Where did you get the stereo from a safe to do so was it install an easy? Do you have to order separate parts or just the stereo? I have a GMC terrain 2012 SLT. Does that work for that type?

they actually have two types depending on whether you have that little compartment on top. i got it off aliexpress. i just ordered the stereo. they have alot of canbus types for different kinds of cars , the one i use says gmc terrain 2010-2017 , so it should cover yours too.

got it from ali express ,$399 to $799. they say from 2010-2017 you have to send them a photo of your dash console to match up the right size.

The heat and air conditioning work, it's just small problems like front and rear defrost are reversed . And it reads in Celsius not Fahrenheit.

@@victormauriciolopezflores2680 no te lo recomiendo , tienes problemas ,pierde algunas funciones y los arneces no matchan con las de la camioneta, la cámara que produce este estereo es fatal, yo lo compre y se lo quite y lo regrese

generally there are two plugs that affect these buttons . 1. there is a small plug at the top left corner on the back of the unit, make sure that's plugged in al the way. 2. the high and low profile plugs ( the low has only a couple of wires , the high has almost a full set of wires ) , this is the one that plugs into the plug that your old heater controls plugged into . make sure that is plugged in all the way .
