Thanks for another awesome Bolt Action battle report. Pacific Theater is a nice change-up too, as are the customised rules. Personally i house rule the shit out of the game plus make up variations on scenarios, or even completely new ones. Keeps the game fresh.

I would try the 3d print market. You can print them yourself or find someone who does.

indirect fire weapons can not go in ambush due to taking time to line up and zero in the shot, Howitzers can since they can either do direct or indirect. page 72 about half way down page of the rule book.

When we say seven we mean you must roll a six followed by another six to hit.

Travis, Ducks are bad too. My daughter (who plays Japanese btw...) babysat for a girl who had a pet duck. She called it the duck of war because it was so protective of his human he would attack my daughter or anyone who would come close to her.

Has KickAss Games found you any of those "special" colorful base "rings" or "wraps" to help differentiate officers or whatever? You've mentioned those plastic base holders were available for only a short time quite a while ago. Thought maybe KA has seen them somewhere. P.S.--Sorry to say, I'm not in the market for any, but I've seen lots of Battle Report comments asking about them.

They are from an old Conan’s board game Kickstarter. Haven’t seen them around lately. Try the 3d print marketplace. People have started making similar things or if you have a printer you could print them yourself.

Thought it might be cool if the japanese go first and launch from there side with each unit getting one standard move. Then they can 'sneak' forward in the night, with each unit rolling a D6, 5+ they get one addition move. Less, the japanese are detected and the game starts as normal.
