Kinnan is one of the strongest, and most consistent commanders in the format... CEDH, or otherwise. At a ridiculously low cost of 2 mana, and the oversaturation of free/1 mana rocks/dorks in today's meta, stax is one of the only archetypes that can keep that deck in check, sometimes. i genuinely feel the only way to build a "fair" Kinnan deck, is to include only lands as mana producing permanents, much like the only to build a "fair" chulane deck is one with no creatures, lol. Now, as someone who runs Kinnan as an elfball commander (for a 2 mana "mirari's wake effect" in the command zone), i will readily admit that It's really fun to pilot, but recognize that it's not so much fun when he's on the opposing side of the field.

There are SO many ways to put together a commander deck. The randomness of getting exactly what you need at the right time is a probability in every deck as there are 99 cards to get. Sometimes you draw that crazy hand and no one has a response. That’s how games work, it happens. I’ve literally played a precon against tuned decks and beat them. Sometimes you get lucky, that’s the name of the game. I’m sure you’ve experienced this before whether you were on the giving or the receiving end of a lucky draw.
