I feel like part of the greatness of the whole mess though was how the game was basically done once Xander filled the Chosen One's graveyard, but nobody knew it until two board-shattering plays later: he ran over a random citizen and that just dominoed into the rest of the game. At first i thought tivits vote was pointless because vs experienced players its always 2 treasures and 3 clues but i think the intention is you can make deals with people at the table to get the treasure. Some great spicy card choices. I really like the new hideaway enchantments not because of their power level (i think they are all pretty good) but because they add an element of fun to the game. You get a mini quest to complete and the card could be worthless or something that changes the game. Pauls assessment of xander definitely changed my thoughts about him. He is the perfect rise of the dark realms, reanimate other peoples stuff commander that makes crazy cards like haunt of hightower and guiltfeeder great.

If I recall correctly, tokens technically also go to the graveyard, they just stop existing once they're there. So haunt of hightower should have gotten some more counters from the clues and treasures being sacrificed/destroyed.

It's tricky but Gatherer rulings specifically say: 1/25/2019 The Haunt of Hightower's last ability won't trigger when a token is put into an opponent's graveyard. Probably because they're not counted as 'cards'
