Ken, Burning Brawler straight up doesn't work with extra combat spells. The only such sorcery that works when cast outside of a main phase is World at War. "After THIS main phase, there is an additional combat phase." So if this isn't a main phase, all you get is the untap.

Amazing game and great group, but just cause I've already looked into this for my Eleven, The Mage deck. "Relentless Assault" doesn't have any effect if it resolves outside of a main phase. Since Ken triggers on combat damage your Relentless would have fizzled and no extra combat would have happened. Still a great deck

Probably has been mentioned but an effect like relentless assault states "after this main phase" and doesn't work with Kens ability. As you're not in a main phase but damage clean up or damage or whatever.

The two Ur-Dragon triggers are two triggers not one ... so, you dont get to see 6 cards to choose from. You draw 3, and put 1 and then you draw another 3 and put 1.

Did not know that! Thanks for the clarification. I would just draw them all at once and then put that many permanents into play based on the number of Ur-Dragons in play with Helm of the Host or Sakashima, but makes sense what you're saying.

Ken doesn’t work with most extra combats they usually say after this main phase so you can’t cast them off of Kens trigger

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think Joe could've hit Sean for commander damage on that last turn. Commander damage is still tracked while Teferi's protection was still up, and I think he could've hit over 21. Love the show, excellent game!

The damage doesn't happen Teferi's Protection gives protection from everything the damage Sean would take from the attack would be 0 so no commander damage.

T. Protection gives YOU protection from everything also. So you would take zero combat damage from the commander. Resulting in zero combat damage.

@@nottomcruise Ur - Dragon is such a house, my favourite deck as well. Eminence is sooo good. I never liked running lurking predators though. Often found I’d rather just have another dragon to cast at that cmc.

@@LouisKing995 I love cheating my dragons out though. I used to play Selvala's Stampede as well, but took it out in favor of more dragons. Lurking Predators is so strong in EDH and I usually benefit immensely from it. Making cuts in Ur-Dragon ain't easy. Love that deck so much!

@@nottomcruise Aye me too, but I tend to think Lurking predators is kinda slow in that regard. Rather have another dragon and cheat out with things like sneak attack, incarnation technique or just using the eminence. Have you tried Miirym sentinel Wyrm ? It’s absolutely nuts in Ur dragon.

This playgroup is freaking hilarious.. absolute chaos and had me laughing multiple times - best episode for sure. I have to admit I secretly enjoy watching Joe get counterspelled and slightly salty. The board sees Joe as a threat and rightly so, he is a good player and knows how to build a good deck like they mentioned. Its a compliment to Joe even though its frustrating.

Wheel of Fate has suspend 4. It takes 4 turns to count down and go off.

If you cast it through alternative means, it doesn't use the Suspend mechanic (like Ken's damage trigger, Cascade mechanic, or an effect like Possibility Storm). This is the core interaction exploited by Rhinos and Living End in modern.
