Listening to Lady Gaga, her alto voice is undoubtedly strong and the notes are accurate to a tee, but what really stands out is her modulation: at times soft, alternately loud or throaty, sometimes belting low from her belly, other times calmly sweet in the middle registers ---- there are many colours. More importantly they are apparently in sync with and display her deepest feelings. How can you not be moved listening to her?

Well put! Exactly my thoughts and why I keep returning to this song~ It’s now my favorite song not only bc of the utmost insanely beautiful voice of hers and how she puts her heart into her music here but this is also my early life story (minus the fame part) in the 80’s with the love of my life who was much older than me (my oldest son’s father who he missed growing up) sadly enough, our story with music and how he awakened my soul and brought me out of a tough period in my early adulthood years which transformed me for life in many ways is what this song represents to me and it’s exactly like the movie!! To a T! 😢❤ He taught me guitar at 16 … (I wish I would have kept it up) I was getting really good but gave it up to become a mama~ and we went separate ways (not intentionally) just lived in separate places bc of my work & other family situations, then he moved back to where he grew up (California) and I was supposed to follow with our young son but I never went and we stayed parted for awhile and just kept in touch by letters & phone on occasion but he moved with his alcohol Uncle and then he began to drink and took a drug and overdosed which was completely out of his character bc he was such a health nut and a beautiful musician and so intelligent ~ and he also had the “Arizona Sky Eyes” that burned right through me~ when we were going to get back together I told him it was too late I had moved on and he OD’ed that same year and I don’t think I ever totally forgave myself over it. Sorry so long. Maybe it was just healing to type this just now.. I dunno? Thx for reading. PS. This is why this song touches my SOUL so deeply and profusely~ Thank you Lady GaGa!! I guess it’s better to say one has loved then to never have loved at all~
