I have fletched several arrows with the TAC driver 2.75’s using the Arizona EZ fletch mini max left helical. I have had no problems so far. I even used the AAE primer pen on them with the AAE vane glue. No problems with adhesion. Haven’t done any long range shooting yet. My favorite thing about them over the AAE Max stealth is that when shooting tight groups, you don’t shoot through the other vanes. I’m tired of reflecting one vane over few days 😂. Thanks for the video.

That was one of the main reasons I switched, I would rip vanes Everytime I shot and got tired of replacing them😂

Liking the channel brother! I agree with the vanes. they are quiet and fly well. I subscribed as well.

I run blazer vanes with a helical on my 4mm axis long range arrows with g5 g lock glue and you can shoot the arrow in 15min after fletch

do you shoot those arrows with broadheads? I've tested other vanes I preferred for target with broadheads, and keep going back to blazer for hunting. I'd love to NOT shoot a blazer, but it works. Curious

Yes, I build all my arrows for broadheads/hunting, which is the reason I shoot a 4 fletch. However, I feel as though I could get away with running the 2.25s instead of the 2.75. I currently shoot a grim reaper micro hades 3 blade 125G. I can’t see myself shooting anything else due to how well it flies. Shoots far better than any mechanical I have ever shot.

Nice video. Yeah they don't stick on very well. Primer pen clean. I had these vains poppn off so easily. I bought a different companies vains put a 4.5° heli on and used gorilla glue with out a primer pen and my arrows were definitely not clean.. I shot those arrows right after fetching and shot 4, 20 yrd bullseyes. I rock Easton axis match grade 575g 3 left fletch

I can't rip those vains off. Gorilla glue all the way

Do you use wraps?
@jeffreyccv2 жыл бұрын
@@hunteralmer no. Just three white vains no wrap for maximum adhesion and foc. Honestly I'm surprised how well the vains have stayed on. Gorilla glue all the way.. and with That being said. My arrows were not clean when I fletched them. It is what it is. It worked . Cheers

I have heard this same complaint. I used acetone on the arrow to clean it, used an Arizona mini max helical to the left, AAE primer pen and glue and have had no problems with these vanes. Not sure what you did but you have to depress the pen on a sheet of paper before using it on your vanes. I let them sit for 30-60 seconds in the jig. I also used a slow set glue on the vanes. I hope you try again and have some success

A lot of the issues are from the jig not being set correctly especially Bitz jigs which i use and they say at Tac vanes, a helical clamp with 2.5-3 degree helical/offset actually works better with Tac vanes than straight clamp. The Bitz can be very tough to get full seat of the base onto the shaft, and if any air is present the glue will not adhere and cure correctly or at all. And Tac being much stiffer material makes this part even harder because they dont flex as much allowing the vane to adhere even if the jig isnt set jus right, because the tac vane cant flex and take up that air gap like an AAE or so on would. Also cutting off front of the clamp. And or sanding the base down flat all the way across where it clamps the vane helps too. Theres lots of good videos of this on the Tac van youtube. Going to fletch my first Tac’s this weekend and hoping all goes well if i can manage to get the Bitz offset and clamp dialed in.

Why does your bow roll backwards after shot???? You need a heavier stabilizer
