Thanks John for these videos. These type videos are super helpful to help angler have an extra insight to these new bait. If I might add, under water audio and topside view can add more to viewers perspective. Thanks for making these videos.

Love these unbiased reviews from a pro! I’d love to see one on the most popular squarebills. River2Sea, Lucky Craft, Spro and maybe a couple more. Maybe even a battle of bigger squarebills that mimic sunfish. Smart business move signing Welcher! He’s a raising star that will make an excellent brand rep. Id say KZbin influencers are driving the market right now which is why Googan baits is all over the place.
@JohnCrews4 жыл бұрын
Good idea on the square bills. Might try to get some side by side underwater shots too. I told Welcher to just keep doing what he does. We are attached to him, not the other way around. His honesty has built a strong following and I don't want that to change. Thanks

Does the Jabber jaw click when the blade shifts? I thought they had an additional piece of metal that the blade hits in the bait.
@JohnCrews4 жыл бұрын
I never heard anything like that
@lightningmusky52864 жыл бұрын
It’s suppose to have metal that the blade hits.

That shock blade, shock blade pro, and the picasso tungsten knocker heavy cover bladed jigs are all legit. And the new z man cross eyez bladed jig with coated wire weedguards is insanely good. All of the picasso bladed jigs are my #2, new crosseye is #3, strike king thunder cricket #4. Goes without saying the jack hammer is my #1 but sometimes they don't want that deep hard thump so I throw the lighter quicker thumping baits listed just as much.

Will you give the R2sea bubble walkers (both lrg and sml sizes) a try and then give your opinion? Also thoughts on the Castaic Jerky J. Thanks for considering. Love these tackle series!!! I have enjoyed the Picasso Blades in all there varieties (great JackHammer alternative for me in Texas).

I have tried both the jabber jaw after the 6th sense axis 2.0 and both have issues in my opinion. They both roll on the cast and twist the line and both baits run left or right on a quicker retrieve. Hopefully they keep doing r&d and that lip configuration dialed in. I have 1 jabbering and 4 axis baits and all have ran left or right. Not sure how I feel about them.
@bennysupreme14 жыл бұрын
Have you tried putting them on a barrel swivel? That should help with line twist. It also shouldn't mess with the action of the bait either.
