Low birth rates, high migration and low immigration are some of the reasons why Serbia has one of the world’s fastest shrinking populations. UNDP is supporting Serbia to reframe depopulation beyond the issues of migration and fertility, proactively adapting to the new demographic reality, to design a sustainable future where people can thrive.
