Serbia is and always was multicultural society where all national minorities are recognized and have rights. Serbs are and always were a welcoming nation, its deeply rooted in our tradition. Belgrade is and always was cosmopolitan city that welcomes all, yet in the western media we are portrayed as blood thirsty xenophobic warmongers. Being opened to everything and everyone is our blessing and our curse. I'll use Madeleine Albright as an example for that. When she was a little girl in the dawn of nazi conquest of Europe Serbs helped her and her family not to be one more number in Auschwitz. Sixty or so years later she payed us back with bombs and pure hate for all things Serbian, hate that she couldn't even hide. Anyway, Kovačica is beautiful, people there are awesome, Serbs, Slovaks, Hungarians all living together and you should be proud of your ancestry.

We value family and died for it in so many wars no matter who was against us(History prove it). West have in our opinion retarded views ,but we also hate any sort of comunism (beside those small amount who think Tito was "saint"). We dont see any nation better or worst then us ,so we dont want any country to act as they are smarter then us. We gave a world Nikola Tesla ,Milankovic and Pupin. So no one should judge our inteligence. Large amount of Roman emperor had our blood ,in veins of ottoman sultans were our blood from our womens. Pretty sure majority of Serb immigration to US was into Texas and Illinois, a lot of them went to Texas in the 1920-1950s. They would often change names to more American ones mostly so people could pronounce it and by now they're 3-4-5th generation Texans and either know little or nothing of their heritage. The ones in Ilinois tho were more prone to keeping their names because the Chicago itself was very high on immigrants from all over Europe and changing names was kinda pointless as a lot of people had Italian, Polish, Serbian, Romanian, German names etc

There has never been a natural, spontaneous bad blood between Serbs and Germans. In fact, as a Serb, I believe Germans are both culturally and psychologically closer to us Serbs than are, say, Americans or the British. I like to think that the only ever reason for which Germans were motivated to wage wars against Serbs was because of the insidious politicians and intellectuals who sold their anti-Serb, warmongering narrative to the public in Germany. Had it not been for the vitriolic anti-Serbism in the 1990s Germany spouted by Günther Grass, Sir Peter Ustinov, Helmuth Kohl, Joschka Fischer and others, Germany might have said "no" to its participation in the bombing of Yugoslavia. To be sure, I don't blame the ordinary people of Germany for anything. You have been held captive by your globalist government for decades. Serbia, too, fell victim to the globalist rule once Milošević was ousted from power in 2000.

@@midnightblue1874 the ordinary freedom is only illusion, and when government dictates and media supports it, the illusion falls away. That kind of Freedom is fake, imo. But when citizens have been lulled into complacency to accept it, what can be done? The economic collapse is going to wake the public, probably, if it's not too late.

I travelled from Serbia from Turkey. At first it reminded me of Europe and looked like the Austro-Hungarian empire, but after a few days I realized that Serbs are like Turks in the way that you can feel the respect that people have for each other there. Western countries just don’t have that. Everyone only cares about himself.

The choice is clear for us Serbs!

Believe me, Putin doesn't care about Donbas. He was trying to push the region back to Ukraine. Only when he realized that the war between Russia and NATO is inevitable he began it on the Ukrainian territory. I know it cause Donetsk is my hometown. @borisnikolic2462 жыл бұрын
The choice is clear to you since you have no idea what you are talking about. Russia didn't help us in many wars as you said, only in WWl, and it actually supported NATO bombing of Serbia, which is certainly something you didn't know. It was also arming Croatia while we were in war in 1991. Also, in 1948. it wanted to wage war against Yugoslavia, since we didn't want to be another puppet state of SSSR. Ask someone from Hungary, Poland, Romania, Estonia and other countries that were under Russian boot for decades, what is their opinion on Russia. I highly doubt it will be positive.

Interesting statement by Natali in the end of this report from Serbia. Especially when you mentioned that people in general just repeat what the read in the main stream newspapers and only one opinion is allowed: the view Nato has. Hi, thanks for visiting my country and my city. Well, NATO bombing in 1999 was not the first time that western countries bombed us. From October the 20th 1943 till September 17th 1944 western countrues, our allies in 2nd world war bombed us also. Russia never attacked or bombed us. Thats why we love russians. And that is not only reason. We share the same religion. So...since NATO destroyed our country, Yugoslavia, we learned to understand what is next move of western countries...what is agenda of new world order.

The West is well known for oppression of nonwhite people, looting of natural resources, piracy, corporate greed and Nazi mode of propaganda. Every country that the West touches usually ends up as a failed state. I tell you too much democracy and freedom isn't good for humanity. We need semblance of authority, rule of law and noninterference of anyone's affairs (for countries).
