Don't forget the power of cardboard boxes. They come in all dimensions, the sides and fronts can be custom cut, they can be reinforced and then they can be painted in virtually any color. A little glue can laminate virtually any textile to them too.

Craft supplies are always heavy. Sewing and crafts gotta love that. I enjoy crafting and sewing. Teaching my children to sew way one of the best things I have done. Our daughter now make so many clothes for her children. Our son can sew his own things too. Xoxoxoxo

At a prior home I built a shed that was a finished walk in closet. We used a rolling clothing rack to move one season out and the current seasons clothes into our home… worked well for our circumstances at that small 1940’s house with almost no storage…

I like those storage grates that go up and down on pulleys. They have different sizes. It is good to utilize high up space when storage is sparse.

Hey Al on your chicken house you can put rain gutters on the side of that little cameras go over in the inside of it just kind of drew a hole with a screw into that and attach him with a washer on the inside of the wiring and then on the side of the gutter and then you can take and have automatic watering with a storage tank with it coming off the tarp into the storage tank

If the shelves will hold the weight .... sub-pack the totes with removable containers. Heave the partially filled tote up then pack the top with additional items or smaller totes.

GET THAT VENTRAC....it is a very multipurpose machine. Once you have one you will be amazed at how handy it is. Many municipalities and golf courses have them. Many farmers use them too.

Nice play on the whole 'getting a cat' thing. Love the storage shelves. I use those silicone molds for when I make soups, broth and gravy. Once they get totally frozen, I pop them out and wrap individualy in plastic wrap and put in a zip-lock bag. I find them most useful and wonder how I got along without them. Happy Thanksgiving!

I installed 45 ft of storage shelves in my garage. Located as you did and it works out great. Great your going to be using totes as Gina will be washing the walls and great chance things on the shelves will be getting wet! My totes weigh on the average of 45lbs.

For extra storage, why not move that shipping container (the one you remodeled into a tiny living space and garage) close to your new house? It might be ugly next to the house, but it's practical and you already paid for it, so the only cost would be having a flat-bed trucker come out and move it for you. Locate it on the back side of the new house to minimize the ugly view from the street and most of your windows.

Yea! Gina in the kitchen!! I miss that. I loved watching you cook up dinner. I actually have bought kitchen gadgets that you have, and also a few cast iron enameled pots. I got a steal on MarketPlace on 2 used Le Creuset Dutch ovens, for $25, what a deal. And I use them so much, that I leave the smaller 5qt on the stove now. And not to mention again, you got me hooked on avocado oil. I use that all the time, I'm also using sunflower oil. I do like the sunflower, but the avocado is my fav, that and extra virg olive oil. Can't wait till you start doing your cooking on a reg basis again, and in your new kitchen too.

All you had to do is ask for starter. I am sure many of us have starter and discard some every time we refresh it. The discard makes a good starting point for a new starter and a small baggie of the stuff would mail easily.

To make your life easier when pouring out of hot pots, look up those silicone pour spouts that attach to your pot. They aren't very expensive and they work well.

We live in a small 2 bedroom bungalow built 100+ years ago. No closets. We’re going to bring up my Grandmother’s wardrobe from the huge basement for our clothing.
