In the last vlog, with the tile design from Stephanies father, I thought, he really saw the future! 🙂 All the little different figures, dotted around the whole Chateau. Gardeners, musicians, dancing people... People all over, things happening and the Chateau in all its newfound glory. I do think, he and Stephanie shared the dream, of what could be - and it came true! Gardeners in the gardens, people dancing, music - and projects galore. Imagine this place, just 5 years from now!! 😂

I’ve worn many hats in my lifetime and once upon a time I built ponds and water gardens. If you’re having a difficult time keeping your fountain sparkling clean water, put copper in it. You could probably find some old pieces and just place them in the bottom of the pond. It would be a large expense but you could also have a liner made that would cover the bottom and go up the sides too. Copper is naturally antimicrobial, and won’t grow lichens either. If you decide to put fish in it, the copper won’t hurt them either. Clean sparkly water without chemicals. I once placed an old copper water heater from a wood stove in one and that did the trick. That pond was deeper (4ft) than yours so you couldn’t see it as it sat on the bottom.

Great idea; I had copper in my pond and it truly helped. I did it after one of my fish (algae-eater) actually choked on the algae piece he tried to eat. (Yes, we did bury him in a little fish grave behind the pond under the honeysuckle shrub)

As fun as it could be to put the radish green in the compost bin, you can make a ¨Potage aux feuilles de radis¨. My grandmother use to do this with ¨2 bottes de feuilles de radis, 2 cuil. à soupe de beurre, 4 pommes de terre coupées finement et 4 tasses de bouillons de volaille. Fondre le beurre, ajouter les feuilles, pommes de terres et bouillon et mijoter 45 min. Blend all with a hand blender and add 1 cup of cream or whole milk, salt and pepper and serve with garlic croûtons as a garnish. Delicieux!!!
