Thank you, had this last night and it was great! My husband doesn't get excited over tacos but he had seconds with this recipe. And my 12 year old is a Mexican food addict, so he was happy to discover something new. I probably added too much water as it came out soupy, but straining it out was simple enough.

If you substitute ground beef with Spam, remember Spam is already salty so you may or may not need to add salt.

When I was a kid my mom would be on a budget and would make spam and potatoes picadillo with refried beans on the side. I'm almost 50 and still love it. Just substitute the ground beef with spam and only cook the spam halfway and follow the rest of this guy's awesome recipe and enjoy.

It just doesn't seem right to not add salt huh? Glad you caught that. I start tasting when its only ground beef and onion fried. (With salt). When I'm through tasting, ( cause it smelled so good) there's none left for supper. I'm gonna add a few jalapenos.

I make mine the same way as you but add diced green pepper and fennel seeds to it and that sombich is Delicious and then some I had 7 tacos in one sitting and was still hungry it's so damn good 👍 🏆🌮🍲

Very similar to how I make it, but I prefer fresh tomatoes. I also add a little bit of chopped green bell pepper, again fresh.

Now this dish looked really good James!! Honestly, I wouldn't eat it as a taco. It could be good by itself or maybe with a side of rice. And to add to your comment about using a bigger pan, once I saw you cooking it and adding more ingredients, I said to myself 'Maybe he should've used a bigger skillet'......LOL!!! But I'm glad it held together. And I think I'll make this dish myself. Keep up the great work buddy!!
