Magnuson actually made that same TRD super charger in the video. Toyota had them make them. They still sell the complete kit including the reflash for the ecm. Just mucho mucho denero but the kit is 100% including every nut and bolt and instructions. Won’t sell it to you unless you are an authorized installer.

@@dentmastersofnymichael3316 Magnuson still makes them they just don't have the trd logo. They were paying toyota some kind of royalty to use the trd symbol.

Hey kid. Love the video. Nothing cooler than working on Yotas. I ended up selling my trusty 99 limited 4runner. Also my hellcat. Rolling a 2023 TRD Offroad Tacoma and a 2023 sr5 4runner now. I wanted to get in before the 4 cyl turbo/hybrid was all that was available. No one brags about a high mile turbo car. lol. People dont understand, Toyota is the way.

I used to use the grinder without the guard until I had a disk explode into four pieces that landed in my hand just behind my thumb, one in my left leg, one in my left shoulder and one just under my chin. I now never take the guard off even if it's getting in the way I just find a different way to cut the part. Many stitches later

If I remember right, in the original Mad Max, he had his supercharger set up on a centrifugal clutch, like an AC compressor, so he could turn it off and on. Is there any advantage in doing that, and have you considered it?

I want to do a surprise upgrade to my wife's 2020 Toyota Camry SE some time in the near future and not tell her and let her find out when she gets out and drives it. Not sure what they are making for the 2.5l engines , but that has always been something I wanted to do as a surprise and have a hidden cam catch her expressions! LOL Faye what would you suggest for a performance upgrade for the 2020 2.5L D4S engines? I am actually kind of afraid of messing with that engine being its such a complicated engine. May have to play with my old 2003 GMC Sierra instead.

We are (I am) very obsessive over the maintenance and care of all of my vehicles but especially this one because Brandon loves it so much and has put in so much work in his overland setup!! And we also go remote so often, it would suck to have any issues out in the middle of nowhere that I could have prevented! I take all break downs very personally around here 😂😂😂

My car is RWD. That's why i made sure my supercharger is driven by the rear wheels, since tire diameter is much larger than any pulley, and also tires grip the belt very well. If it's driven by the crank it reduces hp, my car becomes slower. For some reason, car becomes much faster in right-hand turns when the supercharger is driven by the left rear wheel. I must figure out a dual-belt setup next so that it could be driven by both rear wheels.

Not only do I have a degree in Psychology from Harvard University, but I also have certifications and licenses in other areas that were required for this job, specifically in nutrition and hypnotherapy. I worked as a therapist specializing in eating disorders, which is a very difficult and niche job, and my pay reflected my qualifications and skillset. This was in 2010, so I'm sure the position would pay more now. Hope this clarifies it for you!
