Keep doing what you're doing!!! Really nice to have someone exploring all types of mods and how to remove and install parts. I have a pre runner and although it can't get as down and dirty as the rest I really enjoy slowly building the truck to handle trails and stuff and this is a great place to explore options for the endless list of next mods

The unifilter is another good mod for $20. Also Ebay wrap around door sill protectors, they are like $25. They are so much better than seeing the bare metal from the previous owner using the seat like a slide.

Nice mods man. And thanks for showing us the .25” screw you did on the center console under belly mod. Gonna go get that mod for sure. I already bought and installed the dash knobs. They r an upgrade for sure from the boring stock knobs. Great video!

easy tip for the Jessica Alba knobs: I used clear amber model paint on the back side of them to match the OEM dash lighting (3 coats). Only a few bucks and super easy.

going to pick up new antenna, but i have to change out the fan resistor in truck as lows(barely there) also medium low and medium also barely blows. and medium high and high works like they should. getting thos ajt design knobs anyway, as be easier for the tech deck to grab onto.

I got a grid-it and wrecked it trying to trim out a piece for the hinge. I've told myself I can't get another one until I actually need the extra storage. But I haven't said that about the visor molle panels yet!

I snapped the bolt on my factory antenna the first trip through the carwash. I tried to drill it out and rethread the hole. I tried to unscrew the nut on the bezel, and any other way I could think of to fix it. I just couldn't get the bezel to break free. In the end I had to take the inner fender well out and get to the backside of the antenna to get it all unthreaded. Replaced all the parts with new after all that. I was bummed about the scratches from trying to get it apart, but then I went for a ride and added some dessert pinstripes. From the 7th day I owned it till almost the 2 year mark of owning it I didn't have an antenna. I ALWAYS remove my antenna before going into a carwash now.

I got the knobs, console molle and a stubby antenna years ago and they're all holding up well. The antenna looks awesome but doesn't get good reception, don't listen to am/fm radio anyways so I'm fine with it being cosmetic. Streaming and Sirius is better anyway.

My owner's manual says that 10w30 can be used, but only if 5w30 is not available ... and should be changed back to 5w30 at the next oil change.

I just measured the underside of my 2018 Tacoma's console lid and it won't accept even the smallest Gridit. Yours' must be built differently.

Toyota tacomas are sooo damn expensive Im saving up for a mid sized truck but I'm gonna get a gmc canyon or a chevy colorado or a dodge dakota instead. A truck that is actually affordable not a dam truck that is going to enslave me for years to come with payments.
